Mmkay, so I haven't been posting in a looong time. Silly school  Undecided  But now that it's break, I have crafting time :] So I actually made this one about a month ago, but I just found my camera 'cause i actually cleeeaned my desk. I know there are bags similar to it on here, but this my take. But yeah, here it is.

The Bag:

The Inside:

The Handles:

And look! It's reversible!

So there it is. As always, comments and criticism are more than welcome. Thanks for looking  Smiley

2  My first stencil attempt in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by ~Squeaky_Bunny~ on: August 08, 2007 01:55:43 PM
So I've been looking around at everyone's amazing ability to stencil and screenprint, and I decided that I had to try something or I was gonna drive myself insane. haha So this is my first ever attempt at a stencil, and I'm actually kinda proud of it. The Crave is the name of my youth group, and I've been wanting to incorporate it into something that I make for a while now. And now it is.  Cheesy

Outside of the bag -

Inside -

Inside w/ pockets open... kind of haha

And close-up of the stencil (it's kinda blury >.< )

I loved making the zippered pocket, because it was so easy! I used this amazing tutorial from LauPre for it: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=186910.0

What do you think? As always, any comments or criticism are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm on a tote kick. haha I loved my last bag so much that I just had to make another one like it. And I kinda sorta fell in love with this camoflauge fabric. So what better to use?  Wink But anyway, here it is:

Laying flat:

Inside (yes, that is a zipper in the liner. I'm so proud.  Cheesy)

Zipper open:

And my terrible attempt at an action shot  Undecided  :

So what do you guys think? I'm actually considering selling it... If I did, do you guys think it would sell?

Comments and criticism always welcome. :]]

4  I <3 Music Tote in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by ~Squeaky_Bunny~ on: July 22, 2007 01:42:09 PM
Mmkay, so I've had these two fabrics foreeeever and I'm like... hmm... tote bag! This is the first time I'd worked with pre-made handles, but they just matched so well! haha This is my first time working with an applique, too, and my second with magnetic snaps (which I love now :]] )

Outside - hanging (no, the cord part of the bag. I had to charge my phooone. lol )

Inside with snap

Close-up of heart applique (again, no cord. lol )

Outside - laying flat (with a funny line on the fabric  Undecided )

So what do you think? As always, any comments or criticism are welcome. Thanks!

5  Plaid, Polka Dots and .... Purple? (IMG huge) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by ~Squeaky_Bunny~ on: July 10, 2007 02:22:13 PM
Okay, okay, so it's not all one purse. But it might be! Some day...

But anyway, I've been falling so behind on my posting. >.< I've made, like, seven new bags... if only I had pictures of them all.  Sad  But I do have pictures of these three! That's good, riiight? lol

I made these three all using the lovely tutorial by tinafish. Thank you, tinafish. :]]

Plaid: I made this one 'cause I had the fabric and I was just dying to make something cute out of the adorable plaid. And I love it.  Cheesy

Polka Dots: Okay, so the polka dots aren't on the outside... but I assure you! They're there! They're just hiding. This is for my friend's birthday tomorrow. She spefically requested lots of red and polka dots. The red might look a little funny.. my camera was being mean  Undecided

Aaaaaand Purple: I loooooved this fabric. From the first second I saw it, I knew I had to have. And then I found this lovely purple bottom weight that matched amazingly, and viola, a cute purse.  Cheesy For some reason, the handles look a little crazy in these pictures... they aren't normally. >.< lol

Anyway, as always, comments and criticism are always welcome. Thanks for looking!

6  Coca-Cola! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by ~Squeaky_Bunny~ on: February 17, 2007 11:16:53 AM
Alright, so my friend's birthday party is today, and she told me that she wanted me to make her a tote bag like the one I carry around at school. So, I had her make the decisions on fabric and I put it together. She chose the Coca-Cola print because she's a "Coke-addict" so to speak.  Wink
Anyway, here's what I came up with:

Outside:

Pocket/ Close-up of fabric/ My hand:

Liner (Which kinda reminds me of a black hole...) :

I swear, it's a little more symmetrical in person.... it was just being mean today.   Roll Eyes

So what do you think? Comments/Criticism always welcome.

7  Pretty Black and Red hobo bag :] in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by ~Squeaky_Bunny~ on: February 11, 2007 07:04:13 PM
Mmkay, so I was browsing Craftster the other day and I needed something to do because I was dying of boredom. >.< I was going through the archive of featured project, and found this tutorial by tinafish: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=35575.0
So, after much rejoicing, I got to work.  Grin

And here's what I came up with:

Outside --

Inside --

And more outisde --

Sorry for all of the yucky link-ness, but I guess I haven't posted enough to have the ability to post the pics.  Cry

Let me know what you think. Comments/ Criticism very welcome, especially considering this was my first attempt at something with a zipper. Thanks!

8  Skull-tastic Purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by ~Squeaky_Bunny~ on: January 28, 2007 08:23:28 PM
Mmkay, so I needed a new bag for my school stuff because the last one that I made started to split in the handle seams. (Intelligent me and my lack of interfacing) So this weekend, out of necessity and lack of other things to do, this is what I came up with:

Outside View:

Quick Shot of the liner fabric:

The cute little pocket I put on the outside. My first pocket-related thing, btw. (And I made the mistake of moving my arm, so my wrist looks kinda funny....)

So now I can't wait for school to show off my new bookbag. :]

And thanks to mi_cocoo for her tutorial: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=52143.0

This was my first post, by the way, so any comments and/or critizism are very welcomed. <3
