3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Beginning knitter --- NEED ADVICE on: June 10, 2007 04:29:44 PM
I've been trying to learn to knit for the past few days, mostly from videos on knittinghelp.com and random youtube videos. I'm doing okay but getting a little bit frustrated that I can't seem to complete a project without it all going wrong!

I've been trying to knit a hat on straight needles alllll day but I just ended up with so many stitches that were coming off of the needle and it'd take me nearly an hour to finish one row. I'm not sure whether i'm doing it horribly wrong to end up with so many stitches?

Good luck with your knitting, you'll need a load of patience! Tongue
