1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / yoga bag out of a curtain - a few pics on: February 06, 2011 09:20:54 PM
hey dudes and dudettes! I don't post very often (more of a lurker) but I made a bag for my yoga mat today out of a curtain and wanted to share.

I bought some red dotty curtains in December at Goodwill to use as a makeshift christmas tree skirt. I decided to use one of them for my project since they already have a place sewn in to put a drawstring! I stitched up the sides and the bottom and then sewed a long strip to the outerseam. It took about 30 minutes and I'm really happy with it! Thanks for looking!!

It's a beautiful afghan. Now make one for yourself! And remember, the trick is to stay in the game long enough for the good stuff to start happening again. And it will. Do things you love and surround yourself with people that make you happy.

Anybody have any tips for making this simple dish special? I make it all the time for parties/pot lucks because its such a crowd pleaser using the following recipe. Let me know if you have any tricks to make it your own!

Baked Ziti

10  COOKING / Vegetarian / Vegan / Re: Rice & ? I need some help on: August 03, 2008 02:09:19 PM
when I'm feeling lazy, I buy rice in a bag and pour Indian marinade over it.

Its also great with kidney beans and a chipotle sauce (which I think someone already posted)
