This swap has been cancelled due to mass hysteria over the printing of recipes, and the general confusion of the masses. I appologize sincerely to everyone who was looking forward to this swap, but god dammit already, if everyone had just played along and sent each person a regular sized envelope filled with recipes, and sent one person a box (the box was never going to be sent overseas unless you wanted to by the way) we would have spent a few bucks for postage and everyone would have been happy. I'm sorry this was so terribly difficult for so many to understand.. I will be deleting this in a couple days, but wanted everyone to get a chance to read it before I delete. .
one pissed off organizer..

Each person will create different recipe cards to be passed along to each swap member. The number can vary between 2 and 5 different recipes per person. Each swapper will send to each swappee, as well as creating a recipe box to gather recipes in, to one swap partner. Example:
* swappers...bob, sue, joe, pam, and lil each create 5 recipe cards with 5 different recipes on them. they send each other swapper their recipes electronically and each swapper will print out all the recipes so that they can send a box full of recipes to their partner.
Everyone ends up with a decotated box and a box full of recipes!!!!!
All recipes count, from appetizers and drinks, to main courses and desserts.
You may be as elaborate as you like in decorating the recipe cards and boxes. Talk to your partner about their decor preferences.
ETA: Boxes may be made of any material! You can buy premade wooden or cardboard boxes, make them yourself, fabric boxes would be cool, fired clay boxes, anything you can think of.

AFTER PEOPLE HAVE SIGNED UP AND BEEN APPROVED, LIST THE PARTICIPANTS HERE AND WHO IS SENDING TO WHOM:Alright ladies and gents, we have had a complaint sent to the moderators that this swap isnt specific enough, so lets try to clear that up.
First of all, Someone had a great idea to send the recipes electronically, and then print them all out to send along with our boxes...BRILLIANT!!!!!
if you DON'T want to send out of the country, then DON'T sign up. That is a requirement that will not be changing. The whole point of doing this swap is to get recipes from other parts of the world.
So far, there are 35 people who have signed up, and one who was too unsure and stepped out. If there are any others who do not or can not send a small recipe card sized box out of the country, then please step out now.
