1  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: The Crazy for Mental Wellness Swap (SIGNUP 6/25/08-7/16/08 ; MAIL BY 8/16/08 on: July 17, 2008 04:26:43 AM
Can't wait for this to start-been having a really rough time the past few weeks-changing meds, manic episodes, depressive episodes, other circumstances. Just not fun. Oh and very little sleep.  Cry
I know how that is. They recently put me on 900mg of Lithium a day and its been really making me drag. Not to mention that I almost ended up hospitalized because of it. (Last week sucked big time). Its good to know that I at least have a few people going through some of the same things as me, ad that you guys are willing to talk to me about stuff like this and not say Im ape shit crazy. Thanks

I quit taking meds when I moved out from my mom's at age 18. I stopped because it made me feel so much worse than when I wasn't on it. Like a lump, still suicidal.. But now that i'm older and I can sometimes step out and see it I'm thinking i need SOMETHING b/c my BF is getting where he can't handle it anymore. It sucks when you go into those extreme moods and the person you love most gets the brunt of it.... ughhhh..  Undecided

*huggles* I know what your going threw, they recently put me on cymbalta for depresion, moodswings, and nerve and muscle pain from fibro/auto immune disease. And it was all good and well until they upd my dosage to what was suppose to be a normal level and it nearly tore my relationship apart. the mood swings and depression just got so bad and he didn't know what to do anymore or how to deal with it. but i lowered it and so i'm back to that "i'm somewhat normal feeling" Things will work out for you and I'm sure either way you'll be with people that do love you. And theres always craftster =)

So I had this norml shirt that was given to me by my dad but it was a 3x so i really couldn't do anything with it at the time. So the other day I cut it down for the logo and added a black knit band to the top and bottom. Also added some heart buttons to show some love for norml =p

And I took a pair of tripp pants and sewed em up into a skirt. Both simple as hell but it was fun.

ok enough talking..

8  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: You can never have too many hatchet men on: January 12, 2008 04:51:03 PM
Sorry for the late reply just got a new comp so I'm back on =)

As for the stencils go I made them myself, used the freezer paper method and just played around in photoshop. I believe theres a tutorial around here somewhere. I've never seen them premade to be sold but all you need to remember is google is your friend for getting images.
9  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Crafty Penpals! on: January 09, 2008 04:50:42 AM
My names Jenn, I'm 17. I live in Sacramento, CA with my parents, I'm engaged and starting on my 3 year of college soon and I'd like to try to learn more about the world and different crafts.

I'm studying to be a radiology technician and I'm hoping to transfer to Sac State next year. One my my interests is music, I love all kinds and love hearing new bands and such. I also have 6 cats in my house, most of them feral. I like to crochet, knit, cook, and sew. I'd love a pen pal because I really like the idea of conversing with other people all over the world. I also like to garden, work in sculpture, and I'd like to try to learn to scrapbook or maybe even start a photo album.

I'll add more to my bio when I think about it or if you wanna know more you can message me. I'm looking forward to all of this and can't wait to start writing. =)
