1  Norml, hearts, and bondage in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Adetten on: June 03, 2008 02:03:24 PM
So I had this norml shirt that was given to me by my dad but it was a 3x so i really couldn't do anything with it at the time. So the other day I cut it down for the logo and added a black knit band to the top and bottom. Also added some heart buttons to show some love for norml =p

And I took a pair of tripp pants and sewed em up into a skirt. Both simple as hell but it was fun.

ok enough talking..

Hey guys, after a recent thrust into single land, i'd like to change my hairstyle alot. I want something thats short to medium, and I was thinking about getting bangs but I don't know where to start. Anyway
this is me with my hair styled usually its strait and down to my middle back. I'm also gonna be coloring it again, right now I'm looking at dark purple with bright pink tips. But any and all suggestions are welcome lol  Grin

I was looking at something like this though

these are my favorite but I doubt they'd look good on me

5  You can never have too many hatchet men in Stenciling: Completed Projects by Adetten on: June 24, 2007 05:36:15 PM
ok so I was going through my clothes this laundry day and I said to myself "you know, you need another shirt with a hatchet man on it." So here it is, with twiztid on the front because thats one I don't have

there both really straight I'm just standing weird.

And they match my undies I made last week because I refuse to pay $15 unless its something thats lace/crotchless and instantly gonna get me laid on sight. Modeled by my ironing board lol

This is the back

And the front

Let me know what you think, first time I've stenciled that isn't on a hard object with spray paint.

Ok I don't have a question about dyeing or cut I've done that enough on my own.. anyway I wanna keep my hair like I've done in these pictures

I have normally pretty straight hair, and to get it like this I put a frizz control on it when it was damp, air dried it/blow-dried and then I used a heat protective styling spray, so like hair spary stuff almost and curled each section with a 1in curling iron. After they cooled and set I took a normal plastic tipped hairbrush and comb through my hair. It stays for about 2-3 days if I don't get it wet, but I'd like an easier way to get this everyday.

Its not all curls though it goes from really light waves to almost straight at the top to loose soft curls at the ends. How do I go about doing this? and I'm not a big fan of back combing or teasing btw so I'd like to avoid that as much as possible

7  Mmmn black checkered, red, and brass brads *Img Loaded Goodness* in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by Adetten on: April 24, 2007 11:36:53 PM
Yeah so I'm redoing my room and I couldn't wait to post, this is a chair that I redid. Got it on craigslist for 10$, stripped it of its original 50's fabric and foam and spent about 20$ for material, foam, stain, brads, and batting.... Heres the results. Any comments or advice would be appreciated.

Whole view, with one of my cats on it, that love it so much I can't keep em off it. As you can tell by the hair lol

Back brad design and view of fabric, its not pinstriped just has a ridge that makes it look like it on camera.

Front brad design and you can see how I pleated to corners instead of sewing. The brads are straight its just my camera

Side brads and whatnot

Original fabric with AA battery for size comparison lol

Anyway I love it and have enough fabric left over for pillows for my bed.

8  Wooden doll bed covered in hearts in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Adetten on: December 26, 2006 10:19:07 PM
This is a doll bed I made for my 6 yo cousin. I cut out the pieces in woodshop, nailed, glued, sanded, painted. I found the hearts at a craft store for pretty cheap, painted and glued them on. I still need to make the bedding for it, I'm currently working on the mattress and mini quilt that will cover it. All and all the things over a foot long and I loved doing it.

Sorry about the bad pics and date, I lost mine and had to go back to my old one.

9  End of semester pics in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by Adetten on: December 26, 2006 09:36:46 PM
Well I recently started a scuplture class last semester (2 part this semester) and this is some of the things I took home with me.

A bust which is suppose to be a self portrait, the glaze messed up slightly but it's ok

A sculpture which is suppose to be a starfish crawling out of a tide pool.
I carved it out of plaster, I still need to stain it.

I also made a sword and a few others things, oh and please excuse the date, I just found my camera and haven't reset it.
