1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Double Knitting - Rainbow Scarf on: March 07, 2012 02:19:06 PM
This is my first double knitting project. Not finished yet, but I am very proud of it.

Yarn is from knitpicks.com
Pattern - http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/rainbow-scarf-10

I did a few things different from the pattern. I did an invisible cast on and a different edge technique.

Anyway, Enjoy !

2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / My Threaded Earrings (Image Heavy) on: November 22, 2011 04:28:34 PM
Hey Craftster.

Just wanted to show some of my Thread Earrings that I made. Smiley Not all made on the same day, just lazy with the posting.  Grin

This was one of my very first ones.

Second one. Getting better with practice.  Cheesy

Decided to try an open look.  I think I might add a gem in the center.

Earrings with a twist.  Cheesy  These are my Twisted Tread Earrings.  Wanted to try something new and different.
(Blue, Purple, Black)

Took a few tries to get the twist just right. Wish I had better pictures to show the details.

Thanks for looking.

Enjoy
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Crocheted Aluminum Crochet Hook Case on: July 09, 2010 10:26:06 PM
Hey everyone.
Just finished my latest project. A Crochet Hook Case.
Now I've had this pattern link saved in my bookmarks for a while and recently decided to use it due to a home renovation.
While moving some boxes with my craft stuff; one them happened to tip over spilling all my hooks across the room. Not good.
Anyway, they needed a safe place and this is what i made.

This case is for aluminum hooks. (trust me i have more than what the picture shows  Cheesy )
It crochets quickly and in one piece. No fastening off. YAAAAAA Grin
I now i have to make one for my steel hooks.

Here are the links:
Aluminum- http://web.archive.org/web/20010820230737/members.aol.com/lffunt/alhookcase.htm
Steel- http://web.archive.org/web/20010711180209/members.aol.com/lffunt/sthookcase.htm

WARNING : I found some errors in the aluminum pattern. ( or it could just be me. No one else seems to be having this problem hmmmm.  Huh ) Somewhere around the spine section where you are asked to stitch in the front loops only, you will realize that a row of your free loops that are suppose to be in the back isn't; so be careful. Also the length of the back piece is a little to long.
I will try to find out where exactly and post it at a later time and also if there are any errors in the steel pattern as well.

Happy Hooking  Grin
4  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Mario Head Papercraft Model on: July 25, 2009 07:40:50 AM
Ok  This is my very first post so bear with me.  Cheesy

In my search for something new to craft, I came across hundreds of papercraft 3D models. So i gave it a try and i love it.
Here are my results :

He stands 5 1/2 inches tall

Making it was fun and I plan to do many more. With some practice I can hopefully get it a lot smoother.....but I like it.

Tell me what you think.
