I like Freaks on St. Marks, they have some cute stuff and I somehow always get a deal in there. Trash & Vaudeville on St. Marks is always good for shoes and the rockstar clothes which provide alot of inspiration.
Check out 99x on 10th st I believe. They lean more to the mod/skinhead thing but they have some cool clothes and shoes.
The upside of getting laid off from work right before the holidays is that I have plenty of time for crafting. After I finished making gifts, I made myself this tote.
Hilly has cancer and they're opening something in Vegas. I don't know if it's actually going to be a venue or if it's just going to be a museum. There's an ad in the Village Voice which said, "see you soon" so I don't know if that means in Vegas or if they're going to try and open another one in New York. It just wouldn't be the same. It'd be like closing the Empire State Building and moving it to Staten Island.
