Here's the back of a project I just finished:

22  Sweetheart Messenger Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Craft Addict on: January 06, 2005 08:41:54 PM
I started this last night but got an unexpected snow day off today  Grin  I don't like being cold or I'd go play in the snow.  This is from a Vogue pattern, 314, I believe.

Closeup of the applique which I cut out of fabric and ironed to freezer paper

The whole bag

The inside lining which has more of the pin-up girls

It's pretty roomy with a zippered pocket inside and 2 pockets outside.

23  Skull & Roses purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Craft Addict on: January 03, 2005 09:42:15 PM
With yet another Amy Butler pattern (just doing my part to keep her in business), I took a ladylike pattern and made it rock and roll.  Now I just need to find a glittery skull pin!

I was inspired by Lulu B's embroidered Amy Butler purse so I copied her and made my own.

I bought this fabric on a whim and I was pleased to be able to actually use it!

26  Homestarr Runner in Needlework: Completed Projects by Craft Addict on: December 05, 2004 05:55:55 PM
This is take 2 of the bag I started in the summertime.  I should have taken a pic of the first attempt but it was bad, and I don't mean bad in a good way.  Thanks for everyone with their tips on filling a design, it drastically improved the whole design.  I'll try and take a better picture later.

27  Celtic Knot pillow in Needlework: Completed Projects by Craft Addict on: December 05, 2004 05:53:34 PM
I thought this project would be quick.  Notice, I emphasized the word "thought".  Overall, I'm happy with the way it came out with the metallic embroidery floss but it was kind of a pain to work with.

28  For Those About to Rock Ipod Cozy (with Sublime Stitching) in Sublime Stitching Embroidery by Craft Addict on: December 05, 2004 05:49:22 PM
I'm known for being very clumsy so I wanted to protect my Ipod as much as possible.  I'd probably keep it wrapped in bubble wrap if I could.  Here is the front

I ended up with the flap on the back because I neglected to take into account the extra space needed and I didn't want to cover up the design.

29  Hello Kitty Rock 'n Roll Purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Craft Addict on: December 05, 2004 04:20:56 PM
This is not my first purse, but definitely my first project posted on Craftster.  I'm crossing my fingers that the pics load properly.

And here's the inside.  I used a sparkly star button to make the closure.  The Amy Bradley pattern I used called for velcro but I thought the button was more rockin'.
