omg you're an inspiration! Shocked
I haven't made boterkoek in the longest time because I find them so boring to make, but will all the fruit on top, you've really opened my eyes to the possibilities!

I just knew I had to atleast make an attempt. I've never tried to knit anything this big before, so I'm probably in over my head. Still, is there anyone who want to join me while I aspire to make this?
3  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Magic Yarn Ball Swap 4!! on: April 25, 2007 01:52:26 AM
Yay, your yarnball has served as an inspiration. I thought my ball was missing...something...now I know exactly what it is! MORE STUFF!

Haha I was thinking the same thing about my ball! The nutella sample especially reminded me about something I wanted to add but forgot about.

That's a lovely shade of yarn by the way. Awesome polymer clay work, hardyswanton01!
4  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: magic yarn ball swap round 4 (sign-ups 4/2/07-4/13/07) on: April 24, 2007 10:44:20 AM
I just finished winding my magic yarn ball!!
I had to rewrap because I ran out of yarn before all the goodies were in the first time and then some of the yarn got tangled Lips sealed But it's all good now!

It would be dreamy to have a job like that (to me)

To me too! Sometimes I think about starting my own craft shop.. but I lack the confidence.

I got yarn today Grin

one has really sweet helpful people, but whoever orders yarn there has yarn ADD or something because they never seem to have the same stuff twice,

LMAO!!

I don't think the yarn shops over here are anything like the ones you've got. Over here they're all quite small. There's a craftshop in my town but they stock mostly acrylics and some cotton and their stock never changes. Then there's one in Rotterdam, they have better stuff but I don't like their staff much. (Snobby grannies that frown upon me.)
