2  Re: zombie prom queen - any ideas? in Halloween Costumes by brassknucklebettie on: September 19, 2008 10:58:13 AM
I was a zombie prom queen last year.  I used an old bridesmaid dress I had and rolled around in the dirt a lot.  I also got a tiara at savers.  I used Mehran Special FX makeup in green and gray and Ben Nye stage blood.

Not the greatest costume, but it worked in a pinch!

Hi Everyone!  I found this sad chair on the side of the road and had a feeling it was hand made.  Once I got the seat of I saw pencil notes on the frame!  I'm glad I could give it new life.

6  adjustable aprons in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by brassknucklebettie on: March 22, 2008 10:45:06 PM
My mom requested an apron a little while back.  Her only requirement was that it had to be adjustable.  She's pretty short and other aprons came down to low and totally defeated the purpose of an apron.  I finally found one that worked and have since made one for a couple of my aunts and my grandma, as well as for a few swaps.  Enough mumbo jumbo.....on to the pic!

7  Social D tote in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by brassknucklebettie on: June 04, 2007 10:46:45 AM
This is my first attempt at a tote sort of bag.  I cut the social d "patch" off an ill fitting tank top my mom got for me.  It's also fully lined and reversible.  I'm pleasantly surprised by how it turned out.  Let me know what you think.

I tried to flip the first one and It didn't work.  Anyone have any advice on that?
