Cuteeee.
I saw them in the livejournal communtiy 'Fruits', But, I'm too chicken to post in there, even just commenting on outfits.

I love what you did with the mumu.
Much better than old lady wear.

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Making Your Own Corset? on: April 02, 2007 03:43:11 PM
I have made 3 corset tops (because that isnt a real corset) that look exactly the same as the pictures using Burda Pattern (i dont think they make it anymore). I just made the top a bit more fitted than the pattern called for, and 2 strips of plastic boning instead of one. A really easy pattern. You might be better to try Vogue patterns for something similar - oh and put underwire in it if you're big busted!

Do you remember the number by anychance?
I just looked up burda patterns, and didn't see anything remotely similar.

You've probably gotten alot of these requests, but...
How would one go about making a bustier?
Is there a pattern out there? (Like, from McCall's or Vouge or something?)
Here are some examples... (In link form, I don't want to clog up the page with 5 pictures.

What size squares did you use to start with? And how well do the little "units" hold together once you assemble them?
6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Re: Gift for Bestfriend? on: February 06, 2007 07:50:15 PM
just wondering, if she's been your friend for 6 years, why is this the first  year you're considering giving her a v-day gift?

I always got her like, candy... This year I wanted something more... Personal?

And, She's done so much for me, this past year. So, I was wanting something extra special.
7  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Valentine's Day Gift for Bestfriend? on: February 06, 2007 04:08:27 PM
So, yeah.

I've know my best friend for about 6 years.
And, I want to get her something for Valentines day. (Not in a smoochy ILU way, Just like, ILU for being my best friend for 6 years.)
xD

So. I'm stuck.
And, Is it even a good idea to give her a gift? Or should I wait till it's her birthday or something?
8  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Empty wine bottles... prefer wedding related idea on: January 20, 2007 04:50:34 PM
Do you already have centerpeices for the wedding reception tables?

You can some how incorperate it as a vase, or something.
Dunno, though.
That's the first thing that popped into my head.

Thank you so much.
If I find some fabric laying around, I'll probably attempt it.
