I just posted the same thing on another thread about this pattern, but anyway, I just made this hat, it was super fun to make and it took me no time at all.  I agree that its a little short (maybe I have a big head though..), I made it for my boyfriend who has weird issues with things touching his ears so I thought it would be prefect for him, unfortunatly it kind of look like a beanie on him     .  so I think I'm going to make it again with longer cables and a foldable brim.  I also did it on dpns because all of my circulars are 24" and I found that a lot easier than I thought it would be.

edit:  I'm posting a picture of my hat, I'm proud of myself, even if it looks funny on me.   I also just learned that its very hard to take a picture of a hat on your own head!  So, please excuse the bad picture!  (I kind of look like death warmed over...)

Speaking of getting reported to animal control.... this is my Dora in her kitty fez.  You can tell she looooooves it!

I know this is a little dorky, but I knitted my kitten a collar yesterday and I thought she was just so cute I had to share!



I cast on 5 stitches of the lions brand fun fur and worked in a garter stitch until it fit her.  I used the claspy thingy from a collar that didn't fit her anymore. (shes gotten really fat, but not any taller, so shes kind of triangle shaped right now!)

Hi Tinafish!  your purse and your flowers totally rock!  I saw your post awhile back, but I thought I would finally give the flower making a whirl! 



I made it a pin, I just glued a regular old pin to the back with tacky glue and obviously I sewed a button in the middle.

 these picture hangers hold up to 30lbs I believe.  they make ones that you can put in 3 nails too which hold more weight.  you can glue the picture wire onto the back, I would recommend J-B weld, you can get that at home depot too. it will hold for about forever. its awesome.

I *heart* my ipod and the silly case they give you with it scratches the front of it, so after seeing all of the ipod totes I was inspired to make my own.

I started sewing a few months ago when my dad gave me my greatgrandmothers sewing machine, I think it is beautiful and it makes a lovely chain stitch.
