What pattern is this? It's gorgeous and I love the chevron striping!

Also, what tutorial for hand-sewn binding did you use? now I'm intrigued (I've always thought hand-sewn bind too much of a hassle, but I also dislike machine binding - mine always ends up bunched up and messy in a few spots!!)

Thanks for the answers! I found this picture on theBerry, and was wondering if the pen shown would be a "pebeo ceramic pen?" Or if anyone else knows what kind of pen it is, that would be awesome to know! In the meantime I'll see what I can find at my local art store for some ceramic pens!

How do you make t-shirt yarn? Small strips of jersey/cotton fabric/tshirt?

I have these two mugs that I want to paint some designs onto for my parents.

I would like to find a ceramic paint (in orange, in case anyone was interested) that:
1) doesn't need to be put in the kiln (I don't have one and I don't think you can do it twice) - "fired" in the oven is fine.
2) can safely go into the dishwasher
3) can safely go into the microwave
4) is permanent (obviously!)

Does anyone know of a product that can do this?

Or what kind of product I should be looking for?

I have some glass-paint that you fire into the oven, and once it has been you can put in the dishwasher, but it's for glass, so it doesn't say it's microwave safe (the paint is called Vitrea 160 with a tube of gold Pebeo).
9  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: KitchenAid cleaning questions (dishwasher safety) on: March 30, 2012 04:17:01 PM
Haha!! If they rust I'm so screwed! LOL I've been throwing almost everything into the dishwasher with my KitchenAid! I've had it for 5 years now and the only thing I noticed was a slight chip out of the enamel on my paddle attachment -- that may have happened from 'someone' dropping it, though.....*looks at husband*
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: 'Wendy' the Knit Doll on: January 14, 2012 08:26:04 AM
That's awesome Wendiek! I never knew that the Dutch used "ie" instead of "y" for Wendy! XD My FIL is Dutch, and we just came back from Holland in September last year after staying with family for vacation! Interesting coincidences! <3

Thanks SiakelA!
