I made that same pattern for a baby shower gift for a friend.  I made hers in Pink and Brown per her request.  It was actually quite easy except for the weaving in ends part. Something I hate doing anyway.  I plan on making one whenever I have a little one. Haven't decided what colors yet.

I love those. Makes me wish I could eat Jello.  I am that weird kid that could never learn to like  Jello. Odd I know. 

When my dad was in middle school in the 60s he said the only way he could possibly stand eating the school's spaghetti was to put french dressing on it.  He still does that to this day and he passed it on to my brother and I.  When I was dating my husband I had to warn him before hand about it so he wouldn't look at me like I was crazy when I made us spaghetti.
