1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Vintage button necklace on: January 25, 2008 01:29:19 AM
I found this pretty button from a button collection I had once upon a time. I have no clue why I even had a button collection, but anyways, thats beside the point. The point is, it was to pretty to just leave it there, so I made it into a necklace.

here is the button

And again!

I could only find a really long chain

I prefer to loop it around my neck like this, to make it shorter. I looks much classier to me

OmG, I'm such a crappy photographer.

I'm pretty happy about how it looks like now, but do you think I should jazz up the chain a little?  Tongue

thanks! I just got four bangles, broke 2 of them up, straightened them and cut them into pieces. Then I just glued the pieces on to the other whole bangles. Super easy.

Okay, not the most innovative thing, but still, it looks pretty darn good

It's amazing what you can do with bangles, superglue and the insane feeling of boredom.

It may be pretty big but it makes a statement!!

This is my very first recon so please be kind.

I found a really small velvet moss-green "punjabi suit " lurking in my drawers one day. I lost the before pic. *sigh* never mind.

Well, I was inspired and made this

Ignore superbly messy room!. I had a sewing fit. (beginnings of skirt and dress on floor and bed)

close up of the halter-thingy. which was actually collar border.
