1  Re: Button earrings in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Debzy on: May 19, 2004 11:52:29 AM
OK, so I've finally gotten around to posting pics of mine!

I made a few pairs but I just used plain old super glue, so they kinda... fell apart  Embarrassed
I was just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for which glue would be better? I think super glue is just too brittle... maybe I need something more flexible...

2  religious kitsch in What the heck can I do with THIS? by Debzy on: December 18, 2003 01:45:10 PM
ok, so i'm drawing a blank with these. Tongue

i picked up these kitschy cool postcards for, like, 20p the other day, but i'm lost as to what to do with them. i just keep thinking 'notebooks, notebooks'... (like: http://www.craftster.org/yabbse/index.php?board=18;action=display;threadid=64...)but i'm not sure...

i want to make them into something useable, y'know? like, i don't want to just frame them or anything. but it seems my inspiration has upped and left.

so if you guys can jump start my brain, i'd be much obliged.  Grin

oh and btw, they have that funky retro 3D effect to them... you can't really tell in the crappy pic  Roll Eyes

cheers!

4  sizing on 'vintage' patterns in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by Debzy on: November 24, 2003 01:18:21 PM
hey guys  Smiley

i have this really lovely 'vintage' butterick pattern

i'm going to make it in denim, but i'm not sure about the sizing. it seems smaller than the usual butterick patterns...

any thoughts? has anyone used any retro patterns before?
