1  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Discussion and Questions / small dog/puppy harness pattern or tutorial? on: September 08, 2007 05:27:37 AM
I'm looking for one, I might be getting a chihuahua puppy and I want to make her a harness rather then a collar (my last chi dog accidentally choked herself w/ a collar  Cry )

I did find a kit for one, which comes with instructions and the hardware for $5. Is that good?  Or does anyone know any free online tutorials?

Thanks for any help.  Smiley

It's for my grandmother. This fabric has been sitting in my 'stash' for over 2yrs now, given to me by DH's great grandmother. I think I did good, for pocket, I used the same square that was supposed to be in that spot. You almost can't tell there's a pocket there. Cheesy

With 2 2L bottles of soda and a half gallon of gatorade, you can see the lining too:

5  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Motorcycle Shorts & Tank Set on: May 04, 2007 06:59:42 PM
A cute set for a boy who's a year old, but wearing a 2t, I think lol.  It's for my parents neighbor, she and I were preggo at the same time, and had our babies within two weeks of each other...but ya know we never met yet.  Tongue

So I'm guessing at his size.  The tank is the Otto download in size 104.  And the shorts are about a 2t. The tank is actually a lighter blue IRL.

This is my first attempt at the tank.  I think it came out pretty good.   Cheesy  Hope she likes it.

6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Chihuahua Love Bag on: May 01, 2007 08:31:26 AM
Inspired by: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=166956.0

I  this bag!  I do, I really do.  First off I lost my little chi doggie last year (rip), and I miss her.   Anyway, I finished this today.  It's  made from about half a yard of faux suede that I got at the yard sale (gotta love 'em).  It's fully lined w/ a pale flower print.  I found a pic of a chihuahua figurine online, and photoshoped it.

Sitting empty it's about 11"w x 14"h. 25" handles.

Stuffed (It's about half way stuffed in this pic):

7  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Peasant Nightie Dress from Cute Kitty Tee w/ Quick Tute in Reply on: April 29, 2007 12:39:47 PM
I took an old shirt of mine (sz L) and made it into a peasant nightie dress for my daughter.  I love it, I'm gonna get a pic of her in it tonight, since she wants to wear it. Smiley  She does need summer nighties, perfect pattern ....I can see myself raiding yard sales this summer for tees. Cheesy

It's really not crooked, just lying funny.  I used the shirts original sleeve and bottom hems. Smiley
