1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / "Smile Time" Angel Puppet Micro-bust on: January 27, 2010 06:52:13 PM
This is a polymer clay micro-bust that I made for a co-worker/friend of mine who is a huge Angel and Buffy fan.  The bust is solid polymer clay and measures approximately 3 inches tall.

Thanks for looking; comments appreciated.

2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Pumpkin Head Figurine on: December 29, 2009 05:07:11 PM
This was part of a gift for a Secret Santa swap that I participated in.  He measures approximately 4 inches tall and was made from polymer clay.  Thanks for looking...

3  COOKING / Dessert / Halo Grunt Cake on: August 15, 2009 08:05:17 AM
This was my first attempt at a fondant cake.  Several of my friends and I have a monthly get together where we play Halo, eat and just hang out.  I usually bring cookies or drinks but this time I decided to try something I've always wanted to do and I think it came out pretty good for my first time.

Fondant was made using a tutorial I found on Youtube:

1 Bag of marshmallows
2-3 cups of powdered sugar

The cake was from a mix.

The filling was made by mixing some vanilla frosting with some orange marmalade.

It was a big hit at Halo night and I was told that it not only looked cool, but it tasted good as well, and I guess taste is the most important part.

4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Hellboy Watercolor Portrait on: December 05, 2008 12:50:43 PM
Was bored awhile back and decided to draw a portrait of my all-time favorite comic character HELLBOY...after I finished I decided to go one step further and do him over with watercolors.  I think he came out pretty good, so I made up a few prints with my wife's snazzy new printer and here it is (finally).

Stylized Bear

Skull Bot

Masked Spectre

Skull Mask Spectre

They all stand between 2.25 and 3.00 inches high, only the bear has been sealed in a high gloss.

6  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Polymer clay Knight on: November 24, 2007 04:45:45 PM
I found this great step by step tutorial on youtube by claywizard.  He made the process of creating a polymer clay sculpture seem really easy so I took a stab at it and here is what came out....

7  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Hogwarts Crest and Harry Potter on: April 12, 2007 07:38:45 PM
I've never read any of the books but I thought I would use them for my challenge entries...The first is the Hogwarts crest and the second is of Mr. Potter himself...Both have painted backgrounds and are hand drawn.

Great entries by everyone...

8  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Zamurai's ATC Gallery on: February 26, 2007 12:38:39 PM
I figured I should start my own ATC gallery so I don't have to post individual threads when I make a new ATC.  I'll post all the ATC's I have to date, so you may have already seen most of these.

Thanks,

Z.
9  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Tim Burton Inspired Cards on: February 19, 2007 10:37:27 AM
Here are a few Tim Burton inspired ATC's.  Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas, and skeleton boy(does he have a name) from Corpse Bride are both hand drawn, and slightly burned.  The Oogie Boogie card is also drawn but collaged and lastly is the Nightmare Before Christmas Collage card.  Any crits and comments would be greatly appreciated as I am still new to this ATC business.

10  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Simpson's Clown Bed Card on: January 05, 2007 06:49:11 PM
This is my very first ATC ever and obviously my very first ATC Challenge.  My wife was very pleased, but to scared to compete since I entered (j/k).

If you watch The Simpsons then you'll get the card.
