cute!! if you have more of that fabric, have you thought of making more diapers with it? i have 2 in cloth diapers at once and I can PROMISE you, those diapers will get a lot of use. seems like we average about every 2 hours a diaper change, so. .. . when you get down to just 'bits' left of the fabric, it would make pretty outer soaker material for doublers, etc as well as child grows and pees more. . . . i think there are directions on that same site for making prefolds - that would work well, too and could be doubled for burp cloths. . . bettyann

PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / tote and small wallet

I have so enjoyed reading along many of the posts and tonight I just finished a tote along with a matching simple wallet. Here are pics: be honest. the bag handles are about 12" long, the length of bag is close to 15" long and is approx 11" wide. the inner fabric is actually lavender, not pink. the denim fabric has embroidered purple, rust red, and orange flowers all over it. i made a small pocket to hold the simple wallet and attached a key fob holder. (gotta love my snap press, lol.) bettyann

nice bag!!! as for the clip - could you mean 'carabiner'? if so, they come in a rainbow of colors anymore. i find them mostly in the key cutting area of stores. . . . or in the camping gear - even though they are not load bearing. oh also try looking in the hardware dept - sometimes they're sold with the screws and bolts, i think. bettyann

I've actually got February's done! Made it a couple weeks ago and realized just now it'd be PERFECT for this. Here's a pic: and another: My son LOVES to push his stroller everywehre, so I thought he'd like a 'Pixar Cars' themed stroller seat. I've gotten quite a few positive comments about it. Hope it makes you smile, too.

If nothing else, *I* like him!!! Here was Rainbow Frog at his inception: and here is Rainbow Frog hanging out with his new buddy, Sylvia, the cat: Hope he makes you all smile. I'm so in!! I got the CUTEST idea for January! I had this fabric and didn't know what else to do with it, so: Here's my current stage on it: Now to find time to cut it out and stitch it up! (If I get it done before the 16th, it'll be my baby's first birthday present.) BettyAnn newbie sewer
