1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: My advent calendar wreath! on: December 06, 2007 02:28:30 PM
What are you gonna put in each box?

Looks cute!  What gives the boxes their colors? Is there tissue inside?

I mod podged scrapbook paper to the window of the watch tins (they were Wilton wedding favor containers). I have little candies and small felt ornaments in them.

I saw one similar on flickr and was totally inspired! I wrapped a styrofoam wreath in ribbon attached the watch tins and added evergreen and a few sparkle berries. I love the way it turned out! A few days late for advent but I am glad I still did it.
3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Cowgirl Twirl Skirt and Onesie Recon on: July 25, 2007 06:24:18 AM

Super cute cowgirl fabric from Walmart from last year that was sitting in my stash and I made a strip twirl skirt with a ruffle and then the top used to be a onesie and that doesn't work for her anymore I cut off the bottom and hemmed it and pulled on the knit as I fed it through my machine to give it the lettuce edge.

That is darling. How does the neck fit? Button or ties?? pewa

It ties in the back. I just lined the halter part with the same fabric and made it so it can tie. She should be able to wear this for awhile since the back is shirred.

I just posted a tutorial in completed projects. They are for basic boutique bows but are a great starting off point before you get into stacking and layering bows.
