I have just received my amazing package from blushingbluegrass. I've been so spoilt!!

I've had to rush to put pics up as i'm off on holiday tomorrow. We are moving when we get back so the house is full of boxes, so sorry for no action shots!!!

anyway, down to business!!

Beautiful blue dress (i've not had the chance to try it on yet!)

Beret and red feather fascinator

Black fascinator/hat and necklace inspired by breakfast at tiffanys!

Vintage lace and ricrac

salt and pepper (tiny sweetcorns!!) and owl mat and two vintage books.

finally, AMAZING peacock feather headband. I'm in awe! its beautiful!!!!!!!

Thank you so much blushingbluegrass, you've been an amazing partner! I cant wait to have somewhere to wear this to!!!!

PHEW!!! I am so relieved that at least one of them arrived and more so that you love it!! That was the second tin I made. I have pics of the first tin...the one that got away!!

I figured I might as well post them since the swap is all wrapped up now!

everything (except a wooden MJ silouhette heart ornament thingy which i added right at the end before sending)

Front

Back

Little plushie flamingo that actually fit in the tin (ok, with a bit of persuading!!). He had a pipe cleaner neck and legs so is very bendy and can wrap around anything. I did manage to get him to stand on one leg for all of about 2 seconds!

tiny note cards/gift tag.

Maybe one day it will turn up!! fingers crossed. I hate to think that poor flamingo will be squished into that tin forever!

Thanks both of you for your patience, I've loved this swap!!! xx

Ok, here goes....my huge package from horrormaedchen!

i wish i had somewhere clear in my house to take 'action' pics but almost everything is in boxes!

Napkins and place mats

Jar of home made cookies (YUMMY, they've all gone Smiley )
Salt and pepper set and wooden spoons.

pot holder and pair of oven gloves.

Apron

We're about to move and the new place has a stark white kitchen, I wanted some colour to liven it up, and she's certainly done that! I love everything. My fave has to be the oven gloves. Thanks again bea, for everything. xxx

Hooray, my package arrived from babalina! It is awesome, thank you! you sure squashed a lot into one tin!!

tin

inside

sailor jerry/swallow dominos, scrabble tile and glass bead

Swallow/tattoo patch and mini sewing kit.

Swallow earrings and bracelet

I think the earrings have to be my fave. I am wearing them already!!
The bracelet is really unusual, what is it made of??

And thanks for the reeces...my BF enjoyed a more than his fair share of them. We both are a bit crazy over peanut butter so i had to share! When i lived in Albuquerque i used to send him them! You cant get the dark choc or caramel over here. (so thanks!! haha)

I hope either one of the tins i sent you arrives soon!! I went to the post office today and asked about missing mail. They said international mail that is over 3 weeks late is classed as lost and so they have let me put in a claim for the cost of it (which i didnt expect at all so thats a few ££ more to spend on crafting!)

I recieved my tin from nosusanfx today! Thanks so much, its awesome!

She went with tattoos, pin-ups and swallows!

Front of tin - the dice are actually a hat pin/brooch! I like how she used it in the design on the front - its too long to fit in the tin!

Tattoo hair bands, pin-up fridge magnets and a birdie pendant.

beads wire and little branches for me to create my own necklace!

inside of the tin with awesome embroidered swallow and sequins.

bottom of tin. (sorry the pic quality isn't great. had to use phone camera)

thanks again for a great swap!!
