1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Leaf cards on: June 09, 2009 07:57:36 AM

I drew different leaves using a thin-tipped black pen and used them for cards.
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Shopping bags! on: June 09, 2009 07:51:04 AM
I'm on a roll!

One with a white graphic crown print:

A natural-coloured one with leaf motifs painted on both sides:

3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Chinese vase paintings on: May 21, 2009 07:51:56 PM

Did these for decorating the area above my work table (the necklaces were made by me as well).
4  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Origami T-shirt cards on: April 21, 2009 09:01:17 PM
I like to fold many of these T-shirts at once and store them in a small packet, ready for use in cards. I'd sometimes pair them with other pieces eg. pants to create a entire ensemble. Magazines, comics and all kinds of interesting paper make great T-shirts that you can use to suit the personality of the recipient. These cards are perfect for males like Dad, Grandpa, uncles, brothers or teachers (I don't know about you, but I find it much harder to make cards for guys than girls).

Thanks for looking. Hope this post has been useful.
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Fabric Bangles- Addictive! on: April 16, 2009 07:36:31 PM

These are pretty intuitive and fun to make. All you need is some fabric or fabric ribbon and a suitable base (like those you get when you finish a roll of tape) to wrap. Make sure to glue or sew the fabric to the base well. You can achieve different results by varying the type of fabric and the width of the base, or even sewing beads or buttons. The possibilities are endless. I'd like to see what Craftsters can come up with!
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Rosette Earrings on: April 15, 2009 08:41:07 PM
Not sure if this falls under 'reconstructed' but here goes. Do you have a stash of tiny fabric rosettes, too many to sew on clothes? Make them into rosette earrings! All I did was insert a length of metal wire between the flower and the leaves and bend the ends into loops. Connect to other beads of your choice, finish off with an earring hook and you're done!

7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Crocheted Black Rose Necklace on: April 14, 2009 08:47:48 PM
I used black yarn and gold chain and beads as accents.

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Sock rose on: April 13, 2009 09:22:07 PM
While sorting through my sock drawer one day, I found a pair of socks that's a remnant of my childhood days. It had white ruffles with bright pink edging, and something about it caught my eye and made me not trash it immediately. I took out my needle, pulled the sock apart and used it to sew this cute SOCK ROSE. Finally I added a pale pink button as the center and a brooch pin. Voila! Ready for pinning to a top or summer tote.

9  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / 'Collage' cards on: April 12, 2009 06:47:48 PM

I'm not sure if 'collage' is the right word. I like to collect magazine clippings and other paper materials, and decided to put them to use in these cards. I don't recycle any magazine without poring through the contents now Smiley
10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / White Fabric Flower Necklace and Accessories on: April 11, 2009 06:27:40 PM
Hope I'm posting this in the right section. I received a bolt of white lacey fabric from my aunt and became addicted to making these flowers with pearl-and-sequin centers. I used the flowers to create a necklace, a pin, and two hairbands.
