1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Mafalda the Sheep pillow on: June 15, 2009 11:08:46 PM
I really need to show of this one, because I normally suck at sewing. So here comes the story:

I once made my friend a sheep pillow, originally as a fabric envelope, but the cats used it to death Wink My friend requested a new sheep pillow. So I proudly present Mafalda.

I had a lot of fun making her because I made her with a little help of my granny (she is just better at sewing than I am and it really was fun to craft with her Smiley I did about 3/4. And although we did her freehand credits go here: http://freecraft.blogspot.com/
She turned out exactly how I wanted her to be and my friend was quite happy to recieve her Smiley Now she sits on the couch supervising the cats and dog.

3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Just another scarf, but with a special colorpattern on: January 11, 2009 07:52:27 AM
I made this scarf for a friend of mine. It is made with single crochet only and with Lion Brand Chenille. The number of lines crocheted in one color are arranged following the fibonacci sequence.
Even though it is quite simple I really like it and want to keep it for myself. Unfortunately where my friend lives it is around 10 Degrees and she will need it more than I do. When she sends me the measurements of her dog I will probably make a matching outfit for him Smiley I hope she likes it!

and reductantly modelled by my dog
4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / White Spider on: May 08, 2008 09:09:17 AM
This is a picture of a white spider (I have no idea what the name is) I found sitting on a flower.

My camera is a Canon EOS Digital Rebel with a Canon 18-55mm zoom.

6  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Stevie not Wonder [owl] on: April 02, 2008 05:54:27 AM

This is Stevie. He was supposed to be a dragonhead, but I ran out of yarn. Suddenly out of the dragonhead popped two ears and wings and tadaah there was Stevie.
Stevie is not a normal owl, he is quite an oddball. He spends most of the time musing about how to gain world domination and is really grumpy if you disturb him.
