I am brand new to this forum as far as posting but have been reading it off and on for some time.
It has been a while for me since I've made my last blazer (more than one year) and I am so relieved that this project is finished. It is a knockoff of an Ingwa Melero Blazer that I saw on shopbop.com some time ago.

The pattern used as a base was Simplicity 4698 but it was signicantly changed - lapel, collar, sleeve, closure, belt are all new elements.
I have made a corduroy jacket before but this time the fabric itself was thicker and tailoring it was harder. Besides, I think I made every possible mistake that could have been made while making it - some mistakes were saves, some were not quite saved, but it is what it is... Luckily corduroy is a casual fabric and the not so well saved mistakes sort of work with the casual feeling, I hope
Do you think I pulled it off?
