Sorry that the picture is crooked...I didn't notice that before! (Also, the flash on my camera made the icecream look very flat and almost cartoon-ish, so sorry about that too!)

This is an oil painting that I did in class. It is of a beach in the Bahamas.  (The colors are brighter and look better in person. My camera made them look dull.)

i recently taught myself to knit....it was less than a month ago that i started. i've practiced all the main stitches, such as stockinette, garter, ect... i've also tried cables and such... now i need good easy projects, w/ simple/straightforward instructions. i own US size 6 & size 8 needles, and size 6 circulars... i'm also willing to buy another pair of needles and whatever yarn is needed (but right now i cant afford getting several different needles...) any suggestions?


(and no, i don't want to d a scarf....i'm tired of those excruciatingly long & repetitive monstrosities!)

done in pastels...just playing around with color.

this one was quickly done, so i know are many mistakes and my camera slaughtered some of the shading, but i decided t post it nonetheless... the portrait is charcoal and splattered background is watered-down acrylics.


i submitted this before (as my first post) but it was only a link and so i figured i'd put it up again seeing as some lazy people (including myself) dontn like to have to click on links...this was my first ever portrait and only my second time working w/ charcoal.

this was my first ever portrait. i did it this year in my art 1 class (w/ charcoal pencils on blue paper.) i'd love to know what you guys think and any critiques you may have!
