I was stuck for something to get the hubby for fathers day but came across this car kit in the pound shop. I let my 16 month old go wild with the paints to decorate it and then put it back in the box for daddy to make.

The only trouble was because it was so cheap it didn't come with instructions and was actually quite hard to make! So i ended up doing it cause daddy couldn't work it out!

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this! We recently decided to theme our toddlers room as Cat in the hat. Its hard to get hold of Cat in the Hat material in the uk without paying a bomb for shipping so i've had to improvise! I bought two metres of each of the fabrics and am planning to use the rest to make matching curtains and a cushion for his book bench.

I made the hat out of red and white fleece so that i didn't have to worry about fraying! I'm a bit jealous now because he has a cooler quilt then we do!

I made these in Feb because i needed to wip up some quick presents for my sons friends as they have birthdays the same week as him. For the pockets and straps i used fat quaters because i have a bit of a stack of them! (i can never resist getting them)

They are both the same size but this one was for a 3 year old that looks more like a 5 year old and fitted great with space for her to grow.

This one was for a 3 year old who is really small for her age so her mum had to double up the straps, but it means she will have alot of time to grow into it!

I have seen these around alot recently and finally plucked up the courage to try and make a few hoops. The first one was a felt version on my family. If i did it again i would definatly draw a pattern on card first! Free cutting the felt was hard.

The second one i made for my mum for mothers day. I wrapped a piece of bandage around a felt person shape and got very annoyed with it as keeping the person shape was a pain! My mum loved it luckily.

This dress is so good! You did such a great job. I've got so many similar patterns but am trying to get the guts to attempt one. Love it.

Since my son was born my mum has insisted on carrying a huge changing bag whenever she has him. Well hes now 1 and i decided she needed to down scale so made this bag that i had previously made for my sister. I made the strap quite short so that it hangs in reach on the pram and also added 4 big pockets on the inside. (although i tried i couldn't get a decent pic of the inside!) My mum is seriously obsessed with pockets.

I've been making these duct tape wallets for a few years now and this is the latest. The hubby loves them but his last one wore out beyond repair (having been patched up 3 times) I found this tape at my local pound shop and love it, its so thick and not too sticky.

A friend of mine had a baby last week so i wipped these up for her as soon as i found out what she was naming him. I am debating making a set for my son but don't know if i can face more patchwork at the moment! 

I also came here from facebook, what a great idea! Great dress as well, so many girls would love to have their uncle make a dress they designed! 

Again too late but you could make books/ building blocks wih the PECS symbols on? I also got some bottles and filled them with glitter/paper/pompoms/buttons/ribbon/beads ect and put rice in them and glued the lid on. They rattle but are also fun to roll around and watch all the things sparkle.
