2  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Bunny hat from SNBN on: December 10, 2004 11:09:50 PM
hey, i am working on the bunny hat for my cousin's daughter, and i have a potentially stupid question. i just started the hat tonight, so i haven't gotten that far.
i just made the first ear flap. i knit back to the middle to pick up the wrap and turn stitches, and now it is time to make the second flap.
my question: i am in the middle of the row. do i knit to the end, then knit back to the middle, or do i go ahead and do the first w&t without knitting to the end and back first. i figure either way i am going to end up with a different number of rows from the first flap.
am i overthinking this? does this question even make any sense?
thanks.

Hi. I did a search about this, but didn't come up with anything... I apologize if this question is redundant, but would appreciate any help.

I told my mother I would knit presents for my cousins' girls. One is 2 and the other is 3. I know nothing about children's sizes for clothes, hats, mittens, anything. I've also never searched for children's patterns. I don't know where to begin. Does anyone have pattern suggestions? Can anyone tell me what the measurements for a 2 or 3 year old would be? Some of the patterns I did find had measurements instead of sizes.

Ah! I don't have much time for this... I am already knitting 2 scarves, a hat, and a tazer cozie (neurotic best friend)....

Thanks!
sara

Pavement! Yes! Love the bag. And the shoes, of course.

That's very cool! Is the stencil your own design?

Thanks. And it isn't my own design. My boss had it tatooed on her back, and I really liked it, so I found the picture on a website. I don't remember where, though.

I realized I have been using the same bag for school since my junior year in high school. Last night I whipped up this tote bag, and I put the stencil on it today. It is big enough to carry my books and notebooks, and the fabric is extra-sturdy black canvas. Perfect for school and everything else.

Sorry if the pictures don't load or take forever... xo.
