1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Long time, no sew.... on: November 28, 2010 03:50:46 PM
So, it's been forever since I've posted anything on here, but the sewing bug has bitten me and I have decided to pull out my massive stash of fabric and start on Christmas presents.

Please be nice!  Smiley

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Yet Another Skull Purse... on: March 08, 2007 10:03:00 AM
I was at WalMart this morning, skulking about the fabric department, when I realized I have too much fabric already, so on the way over to actually buy some groceries, I happened upon these adorable bandanas in the accessories department. 94 cents and a zipper later, here's my latest purse.

I have no idea why the skulls came out looking green in my photo, but they are white, I promise.

Let me know what you think!
4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Georgia Tech Fans on: March 07, 2007 10:13:43 AM
I made this bag for a close friend of mine who is a Georgia Tech fan, and has been bugging me to make her one ever since she saw the Georgia Bulldogs bag I made a couple of months ago. It's very simple, no pockets or anything, but I did use the zipper tutorial by dia (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=71168.msg676933#msg676933, which is based on e.r.i.k.a.'s zippered pouchhttp://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=22875.0. (thanks dia....it was so easy to understand, reading your tutorial).
I've been struggling with zippers, and I have to say, you guys rock so much for helping me get over my block. Anyway, on to the pics!!

and the inside
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Finally done!! My most frustrating bag yet! on: February 04, 2007 05:20:47 PM
I've been working on this bag for the last week, only spending a few minutes at a time on it, because for some reason, my heart wasn't really in it. However, I just finished, and I think it's great. There are no pockets inside, because I'm just a "toss it in and pray you find it later" kind of gal. I've actually conquered my fear of zippers, and I put my signature trim on the top, with a flat bow. So, what do ya think?

Oh yeah...edited to fix the pics, and sorry about the size of them!
6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / A few purses/small totes on: January 09, 2007 08:57:09 AM
Well, I just got a sewing machine about 3 weeks ago, and I've been super busy since then. I have absolutely fallen in love with the Jordy bag,http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=32204.0 and mine are very similar, but I just cant quite get the pattern like hers, sooooo I kinda fudged around until I found something that worked for me.

Anyway, here are the results, sorry if the pics arent too great....

7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Crime Scene Messenger Bag on: December 13, 2006 03:07:31 PM
Okay. I'm new here, so please bear with me. I joined Craftster the other day, and was so inspired by all the awesome things I saw, I had to go make a bag. I had plenty of packing tape, and a friend who is a deputy....plus lots of free time, and voila! I made a messenger bag out of crime scene tape, and packing tape.

I know I didnt get any pics of the inside, but there's no lining or anything...I think I did an....okay? job of my first project. Just let me know! Thanks!
