Okay guys. Here's the tute for the halter dress....however, I just made a top for the lil one in this one. All you have to do to make it a dress, is just extend the sides of the top to the length you want. Please bear with me, I'v never made a tutorial for anything, so if I miss anything, just let me know. Here goes:
First, I cut out two triangles of fabric. I just kind of guesstimated how big they needed to be, (I HATE measuring) and held them up to the lil one to make sure they would fit. I made one side a little more angled than the other...like this:

Then I added my new best friend, bias tape. Once I finally figured out how to work with that stuff, it's wonderful!!!

I then measured out the bottom of the halter top, (or dress) and cut out two pieces of fabric; one of which I made a casing for the elastic. That's gonna be your back.

After I finished with the elastic, I then sewed the triangles to the rest of the front, by placing them where I wanted them to cross over, and right sides of the fabric together. After that, I flipped it over and topstitiched it, just to give it a little more security.

To finish things up, I sewed the front and back together, and folded the hem up 1/4", and then folded it again, then stitched it. Voila! A handy top that my lil one can wear and play in.

Again, if I've screwed up too badly, or there's anything I didnt clarify, just let me know. Oh! And sorry for the HUGE numbers of pics.
