13  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Victoriana Meets Glam Rock: A Laptop Case Mod Gone Pink (So Many Pictures, OMG) on: August 30, 2009 11:39:16 AM
That's so freaking awesome! If I saw you using that awesome computer at the coffee shop, I wouldn't be able to restrain myself from going over and hugging you. Smiley Seriously, that is AMAZING! I love anything that even remotely reminds me of David Bowie.
14  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: A Shawl of Stars and Moons on: August 12, 2009 07:39:16 PM
That's really amazing. Smiley I would LOVE the charts so I could make something similar, if you don't mind. Also, your car is awesome. It's such a lovely shade of orange! My SIL has a '61 bus and '63 (I think) beetle. The beetle has been painted every color of the rainbow, and right now it's black with green vines along the sides and a moon on top. My brother married into a family of Volkswagen lovers. Cheesy
15  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Flute cozy on: August 12, 2009 07:31:09 PM
I love it! I like how the greens and browns coordinate very well with the color of your flute. The case and the instrument seem to go together very well. Smiley Awesome job!
16  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: My first crochet on: August 07, 2009 06:08:45 PM
Aww he's so cute! I love the color. It looks very aquatic.  Wink My first crochet was an octopus too! I found crocheting about 10 times easier than knitting. I tried knitting first, but I didn't really get it, so I went to crochet instead. Eventually I tried knitting again, and it was easier the second time around. Smiley Maybe you could try it again. Try looking for knitting tuts on youtube or something.  Grin
