1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / HELP! White Speedylock 234DE serger! on: October 21, 2008 11:27:42 PM
Hello all! I hope to all hope you can lovely people can help! Recently I received a free serger from a friend, upon opening I found there were instructions, in Spanish. I don't speak Spanish. And no helpful disc in English. Does anyone else have this machine? If so, could you point me in the direction of where to get a manual? Or anything? I've looked online and the machine itself wasn't hard to find. Just getting a hold of the manual itself seems hard... So, help? Embarrassed

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Mini tophat of DOOM on: May 22, 2008 01:02:55 AM
Ok, maybe it's not really a top hat of DOOM, but it comes pretty close. Cheesy
I made this September '07 I think. I changed it a little, using a craft weight felt with interfacing, because I couldn't find any heavy weight stuff.

Without further ado, here is my top hat, modeled by my lovely roadrash bear.

4  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / How do I line my unlined journal? on: May 15, 2008 01:08:19 AM
Hello everyone! Recently I bought this journal with an amazing cover, I bought it knowing that I could put lines on it, but HOW? This is where you lovely craftsters come in! I was hoping to use one of my mom's old scrap booking stencils, but alas! The space between the lines were too wide! Cry Am I doomed to just use a ruler and hope for the best?

Thanks so much in advance!

Hello all! I'm going to be making earrings for my friend for Christmas. They're going to have little Batman symbols on them. I don't really know Batman's colors or anything; so I don't know what color beads to put along side the symbols. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!  Wink

8  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Elastic Thread on: August 07, 2007 01:58:59 AM

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Corset for a friend. on: May 13, 2007 09:59:05 PM
OK so here's my problem. I want to make a corset for my *cough* well endowed friend (We're talking DD) and I don't really know the first thing about corset making. I know I'll need to buy several things, like boning, and things, but I'm not sure what types of things, or if I need anything special. I wouldn't mind working hard, so if I need a special pattern or anything I'm OK with that. But, oh lovely people of Craftster, do you have any suggestions, tips, tricks? Anything? Huh
