121  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / Re: Pinafore or jumper style dress. on: August 02, 2007 04:07:03 AM
That's beautiful, I love the clean lines and the stitching around the neckline really pulls it together.  Pinafore dresses are very popular in New Zealand too, seeing your post makes me think that they may be an option for me too!  Great work!
122  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Tape Measure Rosette Pin / Brooch with Tut! on: March 14, 2007 04:28:59 AM
Hi, the finished project looks great, but unfortunately I can't see any of the tute pictures - could you possibly message them to me, pretty please?  Smiley

And to everyone else who loves the way tape measures look, I found a tutorial in button and bead magazine last year for a 'tape measure' beaded bracelet.   It was a beadweaving project, but I am not sure what type, possibly loom.  It looked great in the magazine - traditional ivory and black colouring but other colours would look funky too!  if anyone is interested i will try to hunt out the details as you may be able to get back copies.   Smiley

that's a great idea, i think I will make one for my sister who now lives in another country, she would be stoked as we could have relatives plus characters from favourite stories movies as well, the possibilities are endless aren't they?

Hi, guys!
You are all so talented!
I am quite new to craftster, but not to crafting.  I am thinking of listing beadwork and maybe a few knitted or sewn items/reconstructed clothes on TM and was wondering how successful you have found it?  I like to make original/funky stuff.  I would just be interested to know if it is worth the hassle or not.
Thanks very much!
126  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / NEW ZEALAND / Re: Anyone from Dunedin? on: January 01, 2007 03:29:38 PM
Hi there!
I am from Dunedin too, and would be keen to be involved in a stitch and bitch or similar if anyone is interested!  I work full time though.  I am mainly interested in beadwork/textiles but am also a novice knitter and have some sewing projects to get started on.  Great to see Dunners represented on craftster!  Smiley
