22  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Double Knit Scarfs!! (gasp - 5 photos) on: March 25, 2008 02:22:23 PM
Wow, I'm glad someone stumbled across it!  They are both amazing, the argyle is my favorite, have you done anymore?  I would so love the pattern too!
23  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: The Boyfriend/Old Lady Hat on: February 26, 2008 06:35:04 AM
I love the hat, I think it looks great on him.  My son would wear it.  I'm not sure if I would make a matching scarf though, maybe a plain color that is in the hat?  Make yourself a scarf with the extra yarn, I would wear it!

that is beautiful!  I agree, don't hang it outside it is far too amazing, you should hang it somewhere you can admire your work.  I also agree you could use until valentines day.  It is simply beautiful, you really do lovely work.

Adorable!  I have the pattern for the bigger guys and I am working on my family in snowmen (if that make sense).  Seeing yours makes me realize I need to get working on them.

27  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Christmas in July? on: July 13, 2007 04:11:15 PM
I second the one skein wonders, maybe you could find it or reserve it at your library.  Depending on where you live, there is a pattern for a mitten thingy you put over an ice scraper which you can pick up for like a buck or so and they make really nice gifts, did that and they were well received.  Also I am a big fan of knitted wash clothes, did those too with a nice bottle of hand soap from bath and body works, or the Method brand dish soap from Target.  Did that too, and were well received.

What pattern did you use?  I think they look very "manly".  Please share the pattern  info..... Smiley

Your hats are awesome!! One question ....I went and printed out the pattern, how did you add the designs.  Did you make them up yourself, I have no clue how to do that sort of thing.  My son would die for an argyle hat,  could you help?   Thanks for any info.
