1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / Re: Ceramic Box (sea glass bottom) on: December 03, 2009 07:11:06 AM
You can get the same effect with marble or broken glass. It usually melts smooth in my expirience but there will be little cracks between the pieces so remember its not food safe. Bacteria get between the pieces and are to small to get out.
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: RECYCLED!!! on: August 14, 2009 04:29:01 AM
Ask all your friends to give you their old or unmatched socks, and add them to the square until you have a small rug. Keep it by your bed to put you feet on in the morning and avoid the cold floor. New life for socks, same purpose.   Wink After you get a new needle of course.
3  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / Where To Find Things To Recycle / Re: Where to get broken pottery? on: June 27, 2009 02:30:15 AM
Go to your local school and get some from their pottery room. I took pottery in highschool and we threw away a ton of broken pottery. Im sure they would be glad to give you some.
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: beaded stuffed heart on: June 26, 2009 10:02:05 PM
I <3 this project!  Wink I think the contrast between the front and the back looks nice. The front is very busy and then the back is very simple. Its like you flip the heart over to change moods.
5  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: Make Love Not Horcruxes on: June 12, 2009 01:02:55 AM
So. Awesome.  Shocked I totally want that shirt. Great job, it looks very well done.
6  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: seashells on: June 11, 2009 09:03:47 PM
How big are the shells? If they are bigger you could fill them with wax make candles with them. Other uses could be...

to decorate a box, flowerpot or pencil holder

Make textures with paint or clay

put them in your garden

glue them to a headband

keep them in a glass jar. Would a light blue one look nice? With some beach sand.

7  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: A drawer full of colorful fur. And loads of green paper. on: June 11, 2009 08:54:47 PM
Make slippers? They would be interesting.

If you're into Harry Potter, or have a friend who is, make a Monster Book Of Monsters, or some puffskins.

make origami or papercranes.

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Luna's radish earrings on: June 11, 2009 08:39:32 PM
I love Luna Lovegood in  Harry Potter and her unusual sense of fashion. I made a pair of these using glass seed beads and wire. Did something similar to how you make those beaded lizards. I made and attatched the leaves separately and stuck the whole thing together with a crimp bead.

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Ruffle butt, Green Day, and buffalo check...not all in one! on: June 09, 2009 08:40:54 PM
Cool. The ruffle butt is a little out there but still awesome! I also love the tattoos
10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: My Plarn Water Bottle Holder on: April 25, 2009 12:19:26 PM
I really like it. Cheesy That color blue is really nice. I think its good with just part blue, the white makes the other color pop.

I cant tell if the strap is like a purse over the shoulder thing or if its just a long part that comes off that you hold? To clarify, is it a loop?
