So I accidently posted in the old gallery, whooops!

Hello All...
My partner JustinKase is RAD and spoiled us rotten!
Here is what we got...
So the first item is this great aztec'y skull candy jar that is full of skull candy! YAY!

Skull tiara, which is soooo fun! And it blinks!

Skull melty bead thing which is awesome too.

Three magnets which are really great and are on the fridge already

Skull hair clip, I am going to wear it to on Weds.

He feels bad that I have no tattoo's so he got me fake skull tattoo's....where were these for my wedding?

Our favorite item, the item my husband stole is this AMAZING skull afghan.

The coolest item is the Breast cancer pin that he made that says, "Help Save my Treasured Chest"

He alos gave us a bunch of scents to try out which we are def. going to have to lay out to try this weekend.

3  Re: Make-a-Friend Round 3 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by i_am_138 on: January 26, 2009 07:19:32 PM
Hello all!

I am like the Queen of Doom right now, I think everything that could go wrong has gone wrong, but I am finally here to post a photo or two of all the fun stuff my partner sent to me.

Her name is Sarah and she is a rad chick who lives in a community in Denver.

The Swag....

She sent two of these delivious honey tube sticks that are the most amazing things I have ever tasted and the cliff bar kids chews are super delicious and I had to buy a box off of Amazon.

stuff...
1. 2 Larabar's one Apple Pie and another in Banana Cookie
2. 2 Clif Kids Chews, they are like fruit roll ups but better
3. MIx 1, haven';t tried it yet
4. 2 honey sticks, soooooo good!
5. 2 Colorado Post Cards
6. Colorado patch
7. Selection of soaps, they smell really good and make my hands smell good too
8. Pixie Tea, it is really good!
9. She also sent me a lovely red Shawl that is super usefull and was on me while I took the photo, I wear it everywhere now!

4  My punk rock bowling team uniforms 2009 3 dresses+1 shirt-picutre obese... in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by i_am_138 on: January 21, 2009 04:01:38 PM
First off, I have to say making four uniforms for people can be a pain in the butt. I had a ball making them. I am the one in the pink leopard one, and I was lucky enough to sew it to fit me perfectly. I wish I could have custom fit the other two girls, but I think they looked hot none the less and of course Ray, he looked smokin!

And just in case you wanted to know how we did....well, I bowled a 54 which would be the unofficial women's low score and then I bowled a 102 which was our team high score. Turns out, we are better at looking cute then we are at bowling.
Thank you for looking!

5  Re: Cowl Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by i_am_138 on: January 08, 2009 02:35:18 PM
Let me first start off by saying that my partner, Iggy, is uber talented and I am so glad I got matched up with him Smiley

Second thing on the agenda is to excuse my photo's, they are really bad. I mean REALLY bad. No, I was not trying to be "artsy," my camera is all sorts of screwed up and could not take one clear, non-fuzzy, non-color confused photo. grrrr

Iggy gave me a beautifully wrapped backage full of fashion goodies.

The first thing I opened was this AMAZING plaid puffy cowl!

I also got a pleated denim cowl that is really cute and matches my jeans....no seriously, I have a pair that match up in color perfectly.

The next package I opened was this mysterious gold scarf, bow, cowl, confusion! Yes, its purpose isn't known, but I like it as a scarf.

I think the biggest suprise was the cute bag Iggy made! It matches my favorite puffy plaid cowl and is the perfect size for my drawing pads.

I think I am pretty damn lucky!

6  Re: Pet Lovers Swap (Sign-ups 12/07/08-12/28/08; Send-outs 02/11/09) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by i_am_138 on: December 10, 2008 12:49:42 PM
I am so in! Here's my little Puggle, Wrigley! She's also known as mommy's little monster.

Up until yesterday she weighed between 3.9-4.1 lbs and in two weeks gained 2 lbs! I am in shock, but her vet said that she probably won't get too much bigger and that all dogs have a growth spurt. Smiley

I love your little Bug! and Georgie's soooo cute.!

7  100% DIY Punk Rock Glamour Wedding Chicago 8.9.8 (image super heavy) in Weddings and Bridal Showers by i_am_138 on: November 23, 2008 06:19:20 PM
Well, when we got engaged I knew that I wanted to do everything ourselves. Although, the end result was not 100% handmade we made sure that anything we had to rent, buy, or services we used were from vendors that had the same DIY ethic as us. Everything from the programs to the candy bar to the flowers were handmade by me. A fun fact about our wedding is that everyone accept the bride has tattoo's.

Although I was going to make my dress I decided that I was going to purchase my dress through Bride's Against Breast Cancer. They are an amazing organization that sells new and used wedding dresses with all the proceeds going to those in need. I ended up getting my dream gown and made some significant changes. I don't have the original picture, but I changed the skirt entirely. I wanted the lace to peak out in a slit, and I wanted to take off the flowers that were attached to it. I also added the bazillion little buttons down the back of my dress and 5 foot train. The end result was this...

My "something old" was the crystal necklace I wore which belonged to my great great great grandmother, yes three greats! I made my veil, which was far easier then I thought it would be.

My super handsome groom!

Ceremony, I was given away by my husbands father(as mine is no longer in my life. My best friend and maid of honors hubsand Bruce (former member of Men Without Hats) played Somewhere Over The Rainbow on the ukulele while I walked down the aisle. Later we were introduced at Mr and Mrs to Me First and The Gimme Gimme's version.

Dancing

Kissing and a great view of all the button work

And these were my bridesmaids!

Did someone say cake? It was red velvet and carrot cake and Zebra print!

Close up of lego cake topper

The Programs...

The Band

Tables, Flowers, Centerpieces, Chinese Takeout Boxes, etc. The centerpieces had beta fish in them Smiley We weren't originally going to have a seating chart, because we like being interactive with eveyrone, but when our guest list doubled we didn't want our guests(especially the older ones) to be confused. So instead of table numbers we had street signs. Each table was named after Chicago streets.

This bucket was originally filled with flip flops and somehow my veil ended up in there by the end of the night.

Best picture of my second dress

Just for fun...

She got the bouquet and ate it too.

Matron of Honor sang Teenage Kicks

Yes, one of my bridesmaids did fall in the water feature.

The newly wed's...oh and I did have a second dress.

Thank you for looking! There were so many rad things about our wedding that didn't get photographed and it saddens me, but I hope you enjoyed looking at our wedding day, and I can only hope that you make your wedding as unique as you are. I loved the way my wedding turned out, and most people still can't believe that we did everything ourselves. I hope our wedding is inspirational for those who will be getting married in the future. Stay true to who you are. For us is it was about are love of punk rock, glamour, fun and zebra print.

8  Black and white with clover heart baby quilt. pix inside! in Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies by i_am_138 on: January 05, 2007 10:31:01 PM
My friend Kati had a baby in November and I just had to make her little baby a quilt. He loves and so does she, yay! Enjoy.
He was born with a serious heart defect and is Irish to the bone so the hearts put together to become a four leaf clover have some significance. The hearts are all stitched with the 'heart' function on my sewing machine.
Some of the fabrics featured are football plays, music notes and paw prints. The back is made out of super soft and fuzzy zebra print.

I feel like a spaz for not taking pictures of the official finished product with the black binding and all, but I'm sure you'll get a good idea from these pictures...

Little Seamus on the back of the quilt!
