1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / two shawls on: December 27, 2006 07:46:33 AM
Those are two shawls I made.
This is just a part of red cotton shawl with fillet lace design. I always wanted to tray fillet crocheting and I'm glad I did but i must admit that it was a bit boring to do just double crochet and chain Grin i Think that those who start crocheting should try it because it is not complicated.

And this is free style crochet shawl. i made a "body" with one skin of acrylic yarn and then added leafs with scraps of deferent yarns.

2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / new found hobby on: December 27, 2006 07:28:53 AM
I live in country that does not have origami paper, and I'm not ready fore buying it on line outside of the country because origami is my new found hobby. I love colorfull designs of japanes paper and I love how much charm it gives to simple paper crane. I decided to find my own whey of creating unique cranes, so I draw with pens on squares of paper and then fold them.

PS cranes are difficult to photograph Grin

It took me 12 hours to complete with shows It really out of beading shape Grin. Girl I gave it to was in fact totally worth it.

I's been long time since I posted. I don't know how it happened because I still visit crafster every day and I do a lot of crafty things Smiley

Those are 3  pouches from book Omiyage by Kumiko Sudo.
I made  modifications to original projects as I went along, so they don't look like in the book, I would not be myself If followed all the instructions.
I hope you will like them:

6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / never say never on: July 07, 2006 07:43:20 AM

This scarf is made from cotton yarn that somebody (to whom I'm gratefully) have given me. I used 4 balls 50g each (and still have 4 more), color of the yarn is not one of my favorites so I was sure that I will NEVER find use fore it. bag with 8 balls of yarn stayed fore 5 years in my closet till I signed up fore "use what you have" group on flickr and found lovely crochet  pattern that is combination of double crochet and chain. i wasn't allowed to by new yarn so I used the one I already had. It is great feeling to use something that was hidden fore so long.
After first 60 rows of the scarf I was sure that I will NEVER finish. I stopped working on it, 2 days a go I found it and decided not to waist time I have already spend macking it and now I'm pretty proud of my self.  I wonder if I should add a fringe and/ore dye it a stronger colour. What do you guys think?

Close up of pattern:

two action shots.

7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Fabric broaches :) on: May 15, 2006 09:43:10 AM
I don't where broaches very often but things posted in hire always make me long fore more of them  Wink
Those are 2 fabric flowers I made long a go. The violet one has in the middle embroidered flowers cut out from old table cloth that is unusable because of ink stain that doesn't wont to go away.

Those are 2 broaches and a pedant, they are made from big ugly buttons covered with fabric.  I made them today. Bird pedant was inspired by this post http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=95049.0. I wasn't happy with the size of a button that was suitable fore pedant so I made a pin with the same image.

8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / stems of vines bag on: April 26, 2006 09:59:37 AM
This is what cammed to my mind when I read about Spring bag challenge.
I'm not to happy with the picture so I will describe this bag as if you have never seen it.
It is made from thrifted brown velvet curtain and green fabric. It is fully lined with the same green fabric that you can see on the vines (stuffed with cotton strings). It have asymmetrical flap and 2 pockets. Main flap and the pocket flap close with stems of vines that go through button wholes. I must admit it is more wonky then things I normally saw but I like to imagine that it adds to "organic" look Grin

I hope you will like it.

9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / It just got bigger and bigger... on: April 08, 2006 11:53:41 PM
Last weekend my best friend Caroline rediscovered her love for costume moves based on historical frenchnovels. I decided that I must celebrate that with making small piece of jewelry in most "royal" colors of old gold and red. I started up with idea of making just a simple circle wheel pedant but somehow that project got bigger and bigger. I ended up with 4 piece set- earing's, bracelet, ring, and necklace. If I knew at the beginning that it will be a set I would use some beads in different places but I don't have a heart to take those apart and start all over again.

And this is chocker I made to match my scull earing's. I used plastic beads, crocheting thread and embroidery needle (what a great feeling after working with microscopic beads and needles).

10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / It is whet and cold but... on: March 11, 2006 04:22:57 AM
It is whet and cold but... I'm sure spring is comming. To welcome her I started beading (and not only beading) after a long brake andhire is what I came up with.

Simple alien scull earrings

My free style bracelet. I started with beading 3 circles from seed beads, I was not happy wit the whey It looked like so I started embellishing it with different beads.
