Okay, I've finally took a picture of snapsanddrangon's hoodie she sent me!

Ta da!!

It's pretty low key on the front, but the back has so much detail!! The peacock is amazing!! AND I love the color of the hoodie Grin

Thank you so much snapsanddrangons!

Finally! Now it's my turn to post up what phnxreign99 got me! Cheesy:D:D:D
Warning: picture and exclamation heavy! lol. You guys do not know how happy I was (still am) when I finally received/opened my package!!!! Tammy, you did such a wonderful job!!! You know how to spoil a girl!!! Wink

Alrighty! Here's a picture of the box with everything inside Cheesy

As I pulled each item out of the box, I noticed that each one had a note (I had a hoot reading each note) with clear instructions...

But first, here's a Grow a Pet. I nearly cracked up when I saw this:

My fiance and I have always wanted a cat, but the sad thing is he's allergic to cats Cry And voila, here's the perfect solution! LOL!

I finally opened up the first item and...

Here's Dave the penguin magnet!! He's so adorable!! He is now making my refrigerator his new home, and soon, I'll throw him a fridge-warming party Wink

The next thing I opened was:

A personalized hand bag (its size is so versatile that I can use it as a phone cozy or iPod cozy)!! This picture is of my fiance and I at a lake for the 4th of July Cheesy And underneath is our little saying to each other  Grin I LOVE IT!!!

Here's a picture of the backside--no zipper, just the cute little trim thing (which was part of her dress that her mother made her when she was in kindergarten!!!!), which I thought was a really cool idea!!!

Okay, the next item I opened was:

A lovely crocheted bag!!! It's got lace!!! I love the lining too!!! SO BEAUTIFUL!! Cheesy:D:D She also gave me some fringing so that I had the option of putting it on the bottom of the bag, which I'll do for sure!!! The fringe is very flapper-esque if I do say so myself Wink

I noticed there was something inside the bag...and there was a stenciled shirt in my favorite color!!!!

My fiance and I swing dance like crazy and the moment I saw this shirt, I immediately slipped it on!!!!
Here's the back:

YAY swing dancing!!! Cheesy

The last item she gave me were the "scraps"--the first iPod/phone cozy attempt and the swing dancers stenciled on a piece of fabric. I know I'll use those!!!!
All in all, phnxreign99 totally rocked my socks!!!!!!! Yay for the bestest partner evarrrrr!!!! Cheesy THANK YOU!!!! SOOO HAPPY!! Cheesy

5  Blue Moon [a feather/flower hair clip] in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by ShesxCrafty on: July 27, 2008 08:50:45 PM
This is my favorite piece of all time.
There's something about feathers, especially peacock, that I love adding to accessories. I also wanted to make my own flower hair clip, so I combined both these elements together.

Thank you for looking!

6  Birds of a Feather [painted old vans] in Shoes: Completed Projects by ShesxCrafty on: July 27, 2008 08:37:36 PM
Hello everyone Smiley

It's been a while since I posted anything on craftster Sad
But, I can fix that Wink

I've had a pair of checkered slip-on vans for a while and decided to paint lovely birds on each shoe.

Here is the right shoe:

Originally I was going to have both shoes with the same bird except flipped horizontally so that they'd face each other. As I was going to paint the other shoe, I got sidetracked and found a beautiful image of a peacock. And so, the other shoe is of a peacock.

Let me know what you think && thanks for looking Cheesy
