How in the world did you make the fabric flower? I've been trying and can't seem to get mine to look like yours!

Does anyone know where I can find Cherry Blossom Wallpaper that looks similar to this...

                                                               or even something like this

What a fantastic idea. I am definitely going to try this out on a couple of the small tables that I got from Freecycle. Did you draw the tree freehand or did you get a pattern for it somewhere?

I would LOVE some pictures...I think visual aids help me the most. Especially if I can see layered paint on the textures walls.

The door is my favorite part of the kitchen too...except it's kinda short and my husband has to duck a little to get through. Other than that, it's super cute =)

My husband and I bought a "fixer-upper" about a year ago and its coming along pretty well. Pretty well that is, except for the kitchen. I really have no idea where to start. The worst part is the walls...it looks like its just a whole bunch of spackle and it covers all of the wall except one. I was thinking of making it a black and white kitchen but am open to any suggestions. I would love any and all ideas on how to make this disaster of a room look better!

As you can see, the walls are textured, and pretty ugly up close

I really don't think I want to keep the pink floor tile...

I stripped the desert themed wallpaper off the wall. The area behind it is smooth and not textured like
                                                the rest of the walls

The tile is ugly and was never finished - there are ones missing - needs replacing

Should I keep the walls textured like they are and try painting them? If so, would a light or dark color look better? Or is there a way to get rid of them, smooth them down somehow? And what do I do with the rest of it...
Please help!

Your creativeness has inspired me. What material did you use to paint on?
