My first Smiley. This is the best picture I have at the moment, I just got it yesterday. It's a bit below the middle of my back and is about the size of my hand. I love it!! There are a few tiny things I would change but that's because I'm a perfectionist but I'll get over it haha.

I would also encourage you to do some research on bettas.  It's a myth that they don't need much space - all fish need space to be happy and healthy.  A ten gallon tank is generally the smallest size recommended for a single adult betta.  This bowl is *way* to small.  Bettas also need plenty of surface space for breathing, and at least a few plants to hide in.  Something to control your tanks temperature is a good idea as well.  I can tell from the picture that your little guy isn't happy, because he's not working on his bubble nest.  Your bowl is a neat idea, but definitely not good for your fish.

yeah I think the min amount of space is about a 5 gallon tank...

9  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Beautiful Use Swap Gallery on: March 17, 2008 04:56:31 PM
prepare to be jealous!! Check out the package I got from alteredmommy:[everything was wrapped so nicely when i got it but i couldn't be patient enough to take a picture!]

beautiful hand dyed yarn she traded for in shop the swap- the colors are amazing!!

a breathtakingshell that her brother brought back and some candles to use in it

here's a detail of the shell

an awesome journal with amazing artwork on the cover. Spiral bound makes it soo easy to use especially when I'm drawing/painting in it! Also some wax water pastels that look really interesteing to try- I can't wait! wax but water soluble..hmm i wonder how they manage that.....oh and check out the cover for the journal too. So nicely made! She even made it so it locks for me cause I get paranoid like that sometimes Grin

check out that detail on the cover! i don't know how you glue on those tiny pieces without making a gluey mess...

oh and there were  also chocolate covered saskatoon berries which I had never heard of before but they're yummy!
thanks so much again!!! you really nailed me and my style right on the head
