Hi! I've been lurking on Craftster for a few weeks, and finally got up the nerve to post my own work.  Smiley I've been making plush dolls on the same basic pattern for a few years now, themed after http://www.sjgames.com/in-nomine/ , a roleplaying game I'm a big fan of. Here's the ones I actually have pictures of. Smiley

(A scientist character from the aforementioned game, and the first doll-design I made, though this is the fourth or fifth time I made him. He's supposed to have white skin and no hair; the lightning bolt is his insignia.)

(A gift for a friend of mine, though I forgot to photograph him after I dressed him. Oops. I made a mistake on the eyes, but I don't think you can tell here. He's also my first time doing hair, but I think it came out well.)

(A gift for another friend of mine. The face looks a bit long, because I placed the eyes high, I think. I used yellow yarn to tie her hair back because she's in a set with the doll below, which has yellow yarn hair.)

(The other half of the set. I sewed the bustier to the skirt and I think I shouldn't have, but I still think it came out well overall. Smiley )

More to come as I finish them and get them uploaded! I've got another two dolls along this general design in progress, and I'm probably going to branch out into animal dolls soon. Smiley

For the curious, I make all the dolls with just felt, thread, yarn, and generic polyfill stuffing. The patterns I use were freehand-sketched for me, which is why one of the dolls' arms is always a bit longer than the other. I just have a pattern for the doll body, a jumpsuit (which I can modify into various tops and bottoms easily enough), and the lab coat; eyes and all are freehand-cut.
