1  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Pierogie Casserole on: September 25, 2007 11:14:12 AM
This is a super easy, stick to your ribs type of meal that you can mix up to meet your taste.

Basically you layer cooked pasta, sliced cheese, and mashed potatos in a casserole dish
Bake 30 minutes @ 350

You can use leftover potatos or instant. Some things I have added to spice it up:
minced or fryed onion
bacon bits
all types of cheese

Use your imagination, my kids love this also.
2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / 1920's Theme Wedding on: March 06, 2007 01:24:36 PM
Okay, give me your best ideas.  We are planning our wedding for this August with a 1920's/speakeasy theme.  It is going to be a little on the small side.  We are actually thinking about having the reception in our backyard. The only think I have so far is my dress and a shawl.
I was also wondering what the opinion is of having our boys (7, 6 & 2) give me away instead of my dad.  This is a 2nd marriage for both of us.
Thanks in advance for your ideas, opinions.
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Chain link pattern on: February 06, 2007 01:10:19 PM
Does anyone know where I can find a chain link type pattern.  I thought it would be a good idea for a scrap blanket but all I can find is a single row of links.  I'm trying to figure out how to connect multiple rows.  Thanks in advance for any help.
