I really like the floor, almost gives it a celtic knot type of look.
I LOVE your table!!! great piece!!!
I give you a lot of credit for updating the house yet not loosing the personality and history of it.  Older homes have such charm and too often anymore people are just ripping them up and getting rid of that history.

This is an amazing piece....well done.
I have a similar style hutch that was my uncle's.  I've been trying to figure out what to do wtih it since it doesn't match anything else in my house.  Wondering if I have the nerve to do something like this to it.

Great job, I've been on the look out for some chairs to re-purpose for my new place. Patio sets are sooooo expensive.

I have to tell you, when I saw the subject line I expected it to be cheezy.  Well, I was 100% wrong.  You did an awesome job!!! not too many acessories, the murals are awesome.  Can't wait to see the coke machine/computer station!!
7  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: patchwork flower art on: February 25, 2008 07:37:19 AM
I love this idea and was thinking of doing something like it for my living room to go with my new couch.  Well done!!
I think they would sell, not sure what to charge for them tho.
8  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Re: Pillow type Book Rest - Sewing Help Request on: November 06, 2007 07:33:27 AM
I would guess this may be foam, not stuffed. If you cut your foam to size, you can use it to make a pattern.
The back looks like it is 6 seperate triangles arranged in a pyramid.
I would sew them together, then stuff them. Maybe use batting instead of regular pillow fill.
I have an old book that has a pattern in it for a foam sofa. I'll see if I can find it, it may have some hints in it for something like this.
