OK, here is my card this week.  Painted the watercolor motif (not my best medium) on watercolor paper, then of course I made the peacock stamp and outlined with a silver pen.

I am running behind right now.  This week I started back to college.  After almost 20 years!!!!  But I think I'm getting settled in now.  Maybe I can get back to the boards.  Everyone's work is so great and really inspiring.  Sorry I'm running behind on commenting.

Thanks to everyone!  Look, I'm blushing  Embarrassed

And I owe it all to little Billy (yeah, I named him after my uncle.)  He's just so damn cute Grin

I do appreciate the vote of confidence from everyone.  I hope all the encouragement just helps me get better.

I think everyone did such a great job.  It was so much fun seeing what everyone came up with for the theme.  Can't wait until the next challenge.

Here's my card for this week.

I made a stamp of the design at the bottom and tried to ink it in a metallic ink.  Didn't go so well and ended up going over it with my gold paint pen.  But I did make the stamp.  I'm going to redo this one.  The more I look at it, the more I really don't like it.

It's a great stamp design, though, so I went ahead and posted it.

megan+mary, love the earth card.  I love drawn trees for some reason  Cheesy

ferretnose, love the composition, and the black ink really sets it off.

Thanks everyone Cheesy  I am a little proud of myself.  Of course, any sane person would have started with a simple design.  I went thru a huge stack of linoleum, but I finally got it.

Raina- I love the boldness of your card.  It really stands out, in a good way.

uluru-great start!  If you have a printer/scanner, you may want to experiment with scanning, but that doesn't work so well with really thick embellishments.

Here's my first card for the card-a-day club....

Featuring my very first handmade rubber stamp!!!  That's what I'm learning (this week anyway) so all my cards will have a different stamp I'm carving myself.

Although you may have been teasing, I have three fish stamps and if you want to make a creature with them, try only inking the head portion to make your image, then add a body.
Little teasing, mostly really curious.  If it is part of a set, I'd love a peek.  It's one of those really brilliant images I would have never thought of until I saw it on Tee's card.  I loved it. Grin
