1  Darling PINK dress in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by Pearl3 on: July 05, 2004 05:51:18 AM
Heyyy, I made this dress for my 3 year old cousin, Rosie, it is a TEENY tiny dress!! It's made of lipstick pink cotton drill, with ruffles on the straps and the hem, I LOVE it! The blue daisy is just a patch that I sewed and ironed on, and I don't know if you can tell, but the dots shooting out of the daisy are actually diamantes that look absolutely beautiful!

Oh I wish I was 3 and could wear such things.....

Oh by the way, the piece of paper next to it was just there because my name was on it. (It was on display because I won a competition for Pumpkin Patch  Smiley)

Hope you like it!

2  Re: Frosted glass -- How to make your own frosted glassware! in Glass Crafts: Completed Projects by Pearl3 on: June 14, 2004 06:28:41 AM
Ok, I realize I bought the COMPLETELY wrong product... but it was on sale for like NZ$5. Anywayz its called 'etching medium' by the plaid brand. Can someone explain to me what that is exactly? It seems nothing like the Armour Etch that u guys have. lucky haha im jealous.. wish you could get armour etch here..

Or you could view a description here http://www.plaidonline.com/productDetail.asp?itemID=16045.

It has a really weird comment on the back too.. it says "Do not shake", while you can see that the mixture has been seperated into a clear watery-type substance and a grayish-thick substance. So when I squirt the mixture from the bottle, only the watery liquid comes out.... doesn't seem right to me.

I am at a total loss of what to do..
On a further note, do any Australians or New Zealanders know of any etching cream that we can get (or even order online?) down here?

Thanks guys
<3 Emz
