1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Paper making on: December 18, 2006 02:37:14 PM
I'm sooo mad that I'm gonna be throwing away a million pounds of wrapping paper after christmas soo...I was wondering, is it possible to make my own paper out of wrapping paper? Also, I've never made paper before but how hard is it?

I didn't read all the other posts because i'm really lazy today.  Tongue

So anyways, you could play games. Card games or board games. Charades is always fun and everybody will laugh.
At my sisters engagement party we had a pinata. You could buy one(those take forever to break) or make one out of paper mache. You could fill it with nice chocolates or just regular candy.
If all else fails........drinking games!  Cheesy

Those are such good ideas! I'm 17 and I know I would looove all that stuff. haha.
You could also get/make her a journal because if you hate where you are it's always nice to have someplace to put your thoughts.
I agree with whoever said pjs! You can never ever have too many pjs.
I think that you've already gotten(is that a word?) her alot of stuff and it sounds like she'll really appreciate what you've already gotten her.

Are you talking about the kind of photo booths like in Amelie? If you are then......I don't know if you want to drive out to Chilliwack but there is one in cottonwood mall.

10  COOKING / Vegetarian / Vegan / Re: Coming out to the family howd YOU do it? *Share your wisdom here!* on: December 12, 2006 10:51:44 PM
Well, I'm pretty much vegetarian and I have celiacs disease so there's alot of stuff I can't eat.
Both of these things happened this year. My mom's family is OBSESSED with food! They even tried to get me to eat gluten(which celiacs can't eat because it destroys stuff in our intestines  Shocked )! They also don't get why I don't eat meat. So I just tell them I'm not hungry or that I don't like meat. If that doesn't work then I usually end up crying because it's so frusterating when people try to make me eat. Then they stop bugging me. lol. I also sometimes offer to cook meals for my grandparents so that they see that I eat really really really good.
