32  You Clap, I Clap, We all Clap for Ear-Flaps! (Image Loaded) in Crochet: Completed Projects by ninjanator on: March 12, 2008 04:53:34 PM
so i've made some earflap hats this winter...i normally would never wear hats, but this winter here in Toronto, the snow and wind just won't stop D:

my own free-styled bear hat:

back:

a plainer hat for when i'm feeling less phunky:

(I got the pattern for this hat off of craftster Smiley http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=135799.0)

a hat for my bro:

and this isn't a hat, but i don't want to make a new topic just for it so here's an ipod pouch i made for a friend's ipod video:

closer shots:

et c'est toute!

let me know what you guys think, and if anyone wants to know how to make something, just ask ^^

Those are little paper hearts from different red papers inside the bottle ^^ the flower is one i cut off of a dollar store bouquet that i had lying around Tongue

Just some hemp and wooden beads with a button closure Smiley

this is actually part of a friendship set i made for my closest friends this christmas ^^ and this one's mine...i'll probably get to photographing the rest sometime later...

there's a frog there cause it fell off of my necklace from Montreal and i wore it for about 2 years straight, so i thought i'd tack it on here Smiley

34  A cake box :) in Completed Projects by ninjanator on: January 06, 2008 12:22:44 PM
I made this a while ago but just got a camera (imagine squishing this in your scanner XD ... i've tried)

Anyways, i needed a container of some sort to keep all my polymer clay cakes and doodads that i make to use in my jewellery, and i have a brainwave (where an idea suddenly zaps into your head Tongue) and this was born:

All closed up

Open Cheesy

With my stuff inside ^^

It's made from felt and paper - felt on the outside, and scrapbook paper + bristol board on the inside (so i really didn't know if putting it in the paper section was appropriate since there was a lot of sewing done)...I decorated the cake with sprinkles (little seed beads) and this heart "jelly" thing...it was suppose to be a strawberry...but things didn't turn out too well with that so it became a heart jelly Smiley

Enjoy ^^ and comments appreciated Smiley

36  My not so Wintery necklaces :D in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by ninjanator on: December 04, 2007 04:47:12 PM
It's freezing here and there's finally a decent amount of snow! Smiley however, it just seems like i'm not quite inspired by it yet D: ah wells. These are more summery than wintery, but i had fun making them Smiley and i hope you enjoy them as well ^^

37  Holiday Bonanza in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by ninjanator on: November 28, 2007 06:40:46 PM
i've finally gotten my act together and tackled part of my christmas list last weekend Smiley these are the earrings for 9 of my girl friends ^^ They are packaged in this plastic-y scrapbook paper thing and it's convenient cause it also acts as a card Smiley as an extra, i rounded the corners cause i'm a perfectionistic freak like that XD

Now my list is 1/4 done Cheesy next shall be my gifts to my closest girlfriends and some gifts for guy friends Cheesy

Thanks for viewing and good luck to everyone who's doing a 50%+ handcrafted christmas ^^

38  Re: PIKACHU!!! i choose you! in Halloween Costumes by ninjanator on: November 01, 2007 09:13:00 PM
Wow! i guess great minds think alike! Smiley i was pikachu too...but not as awesome:

I went and bought two yellow t-shirts cause i couldn't find a yellow sweatshirt, and am not skilled in dying/don't actually know how. plus i started hand sewing at like...11 the night before cause i had to study for a test before that. But basically i hacked off the sleeves...and they ended up too much of a pain to sew back on Tongue so i just wore a black shirt underneath XD

39  Re: Personal/Private Swap Gallery October 2007 in The Swap Gallery by ninjanator on: October 20, 2007 10:13:20 AM
i did a personal swap with multicrafty sometime in september, but due to some post office difficulties, i just got my package this week D: However, it was definitely worth the wait! Smiley

She sent me:

'

an awesome crochet roll for my crochet hooks, my first ever stitchmarkers and the awesomest ninja pin ever Cheesy

This is what i sent her:

pie & cake charms, a crochet mushroom case thingie, and a necklace Smiley

all of these pics are courtesy of multicrafty since i do not own a digital camera yet Tongue

i did however, scan the necklace, so if you want to see my crappy scanned version, click below:

40  3 New Necklaces :) in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by ninjanator on: October 20, 2007 08:55:29 AM
It's been a while since i posted anything, mostly due to the horrendous homework load i get from AP physics, but I have managed to make a bit of jewellery to keep myself sane Grin

the simplest of the lot - it's a friendship necklace i made - 3 of my closest friends also have one like it, except for in different colours

for part of a personal swap i did on here ^^

my favorite right now Smiley the red is so awesome Cheesy

and that's it, i'd love to hear what you think ^^ if anyone wants to know the material for a specific necklace, just let me know Smiley
