i love doodles like that, they're so pretty-ful. prisma pencils are beautiful and i wish i had the money for them, i wonder if michael's would let me use one of those 40% off coupons on a set of them...hmm...
I don't see why not.... and it's cheaper to get them in those big packs... though I still buy several individual ones like white, green, and yellow..

less messy and easier to cut lays bags (when theyre cleaned out) are great shrinky dinks...color on them and then just pop them in the microwave...im still not confident on how long, but my boyfriend says it should only take 5-10 sec.

wow, this is a great idea!  I've done it with clear plastic take out boxes before.. but potatoe chip bags.. yes please!

These are really beautiful!  I'm a total shrinky dink newbie, so mine always turn out a little "messy" looking.  Great work.  I can't wait to see the finished products!

I find that using the prisma color pencils really helps.. and even though you can color them lightly and they will shrink down and be intensely colored, you can really color them before shrinking by really pushing the color onto the page... and then it really gets intense once shrunk.   That may help a little Smiley

I have never seen shrinky look so good. The black and white squares would make kick ass earrings.

why thank you!  In fact, earrings is just what they may well become Smiley

I don't know what prisma color pencils are, but I've seen two posts where they were used on shrink plastic, and I simply must find some! These are gorgeous, btw. I can't wait to see the final product! They're going to be beautiful. Smiley
Dooood, prisma color pencils are the bestest colored pencils ever!  They are kinda expensive($1 or more each!)  But they are worth it because they come in every color, and as you can see the colors are INTENSE... they also blend beautifully...

You can get them individually or by the pack at Micheal's, Jerry's Art-A-Rama, and specialty are shops.... I'm sure that you could find them on line as well...

I am forever a prisma color convert!

Hard to tell how big they are to know how small they will be once they are shrunk, but they would be cool in the window hanging by fish line as sun catchers. The pink and yellow design would work great for a friend of mine who does stained glass work.

Love the intense colours.

Thanks, and I'm so glad that you said that!  Stained glass was the inspiration for most of these!  yay!
