ok so I had to make one of these. It took me a handful of hours yesterday. I am so happy with how it came out. I used cheapy caron yarn worsted weight two stands held together on 11 needles.
ps its my first sweater or wearable (knitted) EVER!!!





doh! why cant i post pics?

Can someone help me? I don't know how to yarn overe with out actually knitting a stitch. If I knit or purl a stitch when I yarn over then I end up haveing like 6 too few stitches.

Thanks everyone while these have been very helpful this is for a 30 year old 6'5" man who is about 300 lbs so it needs to be sort of manly. Cutsy but manly. I mean he asked for it so he knows what it is but I fear felt wont work for him. I appreciate all the help though!!!!

Oh man thanks but im the type of knitter and crochter im great at it as long as its completely spelled out for me! so my cry is still out there for all to hear!

So one of my best friends since I was 14 just moved from Miami where he was born and raised to Bolder CO. hes only ever left the state 3 times before he moved and one was to buy his house in CO. Well the second day he was in CO it snowed!!! So I told him Id make him any kind of hat hed like so he sent me this photo.

I just started dead like me and it too is wonderful. The same people created it. I am happy to know other noticed the neat things in the show, but sad no one has found patterns either. IF anyone does pease post!

Has anyone seen the show Wonderfalls? It was on briefly last year and stupidly by fox canceled and now its out on DVD. Well the main charater Jaye is always wearing something either crocheted or knitted. I was wondering if anyone had read about the actress knitting all those things or if people had  copied any of the designs. I love her scarf in the episode where her boyfriends wife is in the hosiptal and its light blue with flowers on it.

i fused forever with it (the avatar). I dont usually take pics with my glasses though. I need to give it short hair now.

i just got almost 3/4 of my hair chopped off, and no one has noticed.either that, or they just dont like it!!

no one has noticed i did either! or they all hate it!

So I cut 10 inches off mine this weekend. It feels so light now. I felt like I was looking old with my last haircut. I'm in my 20's I don't want to feel old yet.
