1  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Completed Projects / First Batts on: August 10, 2007 04:37:55 PM
Just got a drum carder (Strauch Petite) and had to break him in.  His name is Spike because he bit me!  LOL   Anyway, here are my first batts.  They are corriedale, dyed by me a long time ago.  I blended purple and gold fibers together.  I'm loving this carder and I love the batts.  I started spinning them last night and they are spinning like a dream.  Will post pictures when I have the yarn completed.

2  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Discussion and Questions / Drum Carder on: July 17, 2007 11:50:45 AM
I'm thinking about buying a drum carder and have just about settled on the Scrauch Petite.  Any feedback on this carder?  Pros?  Cons?
